My living room has a southern exposure BUT I live in a coastal New England town where the skies are often gray and dreary. My walls are a golden amber that work as a happy neutral that make my furniture and decor pop-and glows like a sunset at night. It is a such a pick-me-up during long, dark winters!

I'm so glad you mentioned Going to the Chapel! Although you are highlighting it for South rooms, I have used it in my North facing living room, fairly dark hallway AND two windowless bathrooms and think it provides the perfect amount of warmth and contrast to white trim. Absolutely love it.

Porcelain Blue is my fave of the bunch. Tried a similar color from Sherwin Williams, called Crisp Blue, but my experience with the color was the blues made my beige tiles in the bathroom look yellow at night. Made the bathroom feel too much like a nursery.

I have a small south facing bedroom that gets a lot of shade. My goal is to brighten and cheer it up. I painted it SW Lattice, but it has ended up looking dreary and almost sterile. The natural light doesn’t seem to warm colors up very much at all. Thanks for the suggestion though. Im going to sample the slightly pink one.

I used SW Sea Salt in my sunny dining room, where it can look greener in the morning and more blue in the p.m., and I enjoy it both ways. I'm partial to softer wall colors and Sea Salt is perfect for me.

Silky Smooth ( pink) is very similar to First Light ( 2020 colour of the year) I painted my south/western bedroom First Light and I love it. White Dove also looks nice in my southern exposure, although now I wish I had known about ' Going to the Chapel!" I hated White Dove at first but now I love it.

James, I am confused. You suggested Lrv of below 50 or below 70 and then showed all these pastel-ish tones. My south facing expanse of glass wall has green tinted windows, thus adding extra yellow cast. Not one of your suggestions will work in that space. Where are the saturated colors you teased, but failed to highlight. How about a chapter 2?
