Your color palette advice is key for me. I need to practice this! I am a summer, but every so often something warm sneaks in, and it is the impossible relationship I need to break free from! It doesnt play nicely with anything else I have!

Yes it’s like the two palettes are fighting, they just don’t work ☺️💕

I got a colour analysis just before losing several stone, so it was great to donate all the too-big and not-really-suitable coloured clothes at the same time as finding new smaller ones in better colours (sometimes at the same shops)! And wow, these “new” clothes make me feel brilliant. Thanks for the vid! Xx

I’ve weighed 103-105 lbs. all my adult life, but my body shape has changed as I’ve aged. At 81, I weigh the same as when I was 21, but my body has changed. It means finding new brands and styles to suit me and letting go of brands that used to be my go-to.

Absolutely Eileen. A person can be a size 10 their entire adult life but that will look different as they go through life. Thank you for sharing this ☺️💕

I'm so bummed to miss this live! The family is sick and time does not exist right now. ❤ So so excited for Streamline Your Style to start back up. My first round through gave me so much knowledge and confidence. I'm excited to enjoy the process again for an even deeper dive.

This is one of the best live chats I’ve heard Sarah! You are so well suited to going live. I can relate to most if not all of those mistakes unfortunately but I’m improving. One of my most common mistakes is buying clothes (usually in the sales) that don’t align with my current lifestyle. For instance, I was tempted by a long leather coat and a dressy jumpsuit in a striking Winter purple but just never had the occasion to wear them. So they ended up being sold on. Hmmm… Btw, I really think you can get away with the fabric of your new dress…very pretty 😍

Thanks so much Ally! Sometimes when you find a dressy item, you could argue that the occasion will find you but you must be realistic if you truly know that you don’t have the occasion for it. Sometimes I dress up to go to Tesco ☺️

I have put those clothes I never wear at the front section of my wardrobe each New year comes around… I have become ruthless if I don’t reach for it by the end of the year- donate or sell! But now that I am 50 years old it’s gotten harder to cull (the Am I too old to wear this question pops up so much) it really challenges my confidence and my style evolution… 😳

I totally understand this. It’s one thing we challenge on the course ☺️

Hi Sarah, following on from your Ariana Grande colour analysis video. I think you'll find Kylie and Dannii Minogue interesting to analyse for a future video. I'm not trained in colour analysis and I won't tell you my conclusions but I think you'll find the results interesting. 😊

I thought it would be a great siblings suggestion too for colour analysis. Their hair colours, skin tones and eye colours are different in appearance so it will make it very interesting. I'd love to see if my conclusions match your's. 😊@@sarahryanthestylecoach

@ the trick is getting pictures of them with no makeup and original hair colour!

@sarahryanthestylecoach Definitely, although it's quite tricky. 😊

I sewed my own clothes because tall ranges didn’t exist when I was a teenager. I think tall ranges came in when I was in my 30’s, if I remember rightly.

@@cathwalsh9921 that’s amazing Cath! It makes all the difference when clothes fit just right, regardless of your shape or size or height ☺️💕
@cathwalsh99217 күн бұрын
@ it really does. Especially when you look like you’ve grown out of your trousers. That’s why I can’t do ‘ankle grazers’ now 😂. I have a little therory that that fashion has hung about because manufacturers save money on material but get to charge you the same price.
@sarahryanthestylecoach7 күн бұрын
@@cathwalsh9921 Oh yes for sure! Buying fabric isn't cheap but I imagine manufacturers who buy in bulk from the source get a great deal!
