@@NeevesKnives maybe one day I will be man enough for the espada xl 😆 nah anything more than like 3.25 - 3.3 blade length just seems like overkill for a someone like me. I really love the AD15 as a mechanical curiosity but I only carried it like one time lol 😂 still pull it out to play with it at home tho and would love to get one of the DLC variants and those OG skiff bearing conversion scales and make an ultimate AD15, I can just tell from fiddling around with it to try and achieve ideal action and zero blade play that the AD15 would work so much better on bearings

I did NOT know about Daggerr Knives. I own and carry several 4"+ blades (lots of Cold Steel) but they aren't for the office. They just don't sit well in dress pants. But the Dagger Parrot and the Dagger Condor look like they would absolutely work in in any enviornment. Thanks for this!

The Cold Steel Counterpoint XL deserves a mention too. A 6 inch bayonet on a Tri-Ad lock that's surprisingly easy to pocket.

I scratch the pocket sword itch with my Cold Steel large Espada. The XL comes out for BBQ's.

I think that my favorite 4+ inch knife this year has been Nox (Cyrillic: Hokc) Finka-2 (aka: Finnish-2). Very nice folding Finka with a 4.33" blade. Liner lock but with liners as thick as most frames and a manual LAWKS system. Nitro-V or TiN D2 blade. Flipper, thumb stud and wave opener. Extremely solid and somehow compact feeling. Great looking knife too. Nox has a lot of "pocket swords" but this new model is the most refined, IMO. Condor-2 is pretty nuts though, with a vicious 5" blade.

I think the clip is the way it is on the diatomic because ignoring the "wave open" tip down is technically considered faster on the draw than tip up and it is a "tactical" knife. So instead of sticking your thumb in your pocket and then adjusting your grip after draw, you pinch by the picot and let it swing down into your palm. Anyway..im just guessing here so don't quote me on that.

Damn I love the Begg Filiso dagger design, but plastic handles instead of G10 are a deal breaker. Sitivien makes great daggers of same quality steel and G10 for half the price.

EVERY SMALL FIXED BLADE SHOULD HAVE A POCKET CLIP ON THE SHEATH. WE'RE ALL TIERED OF EXPOSED FRAME LOCKS. I HOPE A COMPANY SEES THIS AND MAKES A TOP LINER LOCK WITH EVERY OPENING METHOD AND MAKES A MINT!
