Living in a cabin on the edge of the wilderness on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state, one morning, taking the dogs out for a walk along the river, all three dogs started barking aggressively at the other side of the river. Being a Scout since ten, and since then becoming a bowhunter, i was familiar with the smell of wild animals, elk, bear, mountain lion, deer, whatever... Looking across the river into dense viney maple, moss, alders, huge maple trees, i would have been able to see the elk, but i saw nothing. I did smell an inhuman scent that haunts me to this day... vaguely human, but dirty, musky, unwashed, inhuman. All the hair on my neck, arms and legs standing on end... spooky as heck... we went back inside. Strongly suspect Sasquatch was watching us.

In the story of Stick Indian. You mentioned about a young man falling in love with his friend sister. That they went out in the woods for a party. Yet no mention of her afterwards. Not with them in the car or years later. That we left wondering what happened to her. Whether left with others from the party or did she disappear? Is there anything more what happened there?

In the story about ‘Bigfoot’ when it throws the rock, and the guy says it could’ve done damage it if wanted to. I thought that was really cool because it seems, to me at least, that Bigfoot didn’t want to hurt them it just wanted the group to leave it alone. Which shows that Bigfoot actually has feelings and emotions and I think that is just awesome Who knew Bigfoot was such a sweetheart?❤

@Kpink7442 жыл бұрын
@@Quandry1 no we don’t have bobcats mountain lions coyotes here near Cannock Chase in England . We have fox which scream sounding often like a child or person in distress all over the uk , badgers, owls , etc . In the highlands of Scotland they have been cautiously reintroducing small amount of wolves, once indigenous, but very carefully monitored. Our ancient forests are actually often full of hundreds of years of history plus within the area there’s a disused coal mine .. there’s no doubt about it though it’s eerie …. I have seen large black cats near fishing lakes where I am more south in the uk that look like a cross bred panther large cat . In the 1970s it was common for aristocracy or millionaires in show business to buy cheetahs tigers etc before they became protected . My friend an avid fisherman has seen large black panther type cats in trees when sitting quietly . But Cannock woods is without doubt very creepy day or night .

@@Kpink744 Yes. But there is a difference between being Creepy and actually being haunted in some way. Which is why I asked. We really need to rule out some of the more mundane things, Particulary in a creepy environment. Also my animal list wasn't meant to be exhaustive. there are plenty of animals I don't know what their cry or call would sound like. I just know there is a precedent and some of them are animals that if most people looked at them they wouldn't think of that kind of sound at all but if they were to hear them without seeing them they could easily mistake it for something much more human... Or once human...

It’s a common misconception that if the retelling of an experience contains small inconsistencies; then it is a lie. In reality, that is an indication of honesty. Typically the only detailed stories that stay pointed, and ridged are manufactured. The lie is told perfectly Because it is invented. Thought went into the story in hopes of being believed. Our Human memories are fickle things. Every retelling of one opens it for editing. Even if we are only retelling ourselves in our mind. It’s amazing actually
