@@toastymcgee9788 hahaha absolutely. I ended up having to get rid of mine when my girlfriend moved in (needed counter space), but now my mother uses it as an outdoor bar dishwasher. This thing is versatile!

@@willlee465 I got one actually. I live in an apartment with a pretty small kitchen. It does take up half of my only counter space but frankly it's worth it. I'd trade the counter for not having to do dishes. The dish drying rack usually took up half the counter anyway. Good recommendation thanks! Love it so far.

There are many similar countertop dishwashers that all appear identical but build quality will vary depending on manufacturer. I have a different one in Europe but found your review useful and it helped me decide to buy one, no regrets, they are great! Thank you Daniel :) I have cut in half a large strong empty plastic bottle of hand sanitiser, dug some holes at the bottom and it's providing an extra rack for cutlery. As a tip, I'm using an Ecover all-in-one tablet with rinse aid, as there is no rinse aid compartment; it cleans and dissolves perfectly and smells great too. The rinse aid will help with the residue on that saucepan lid and it seems to aid drying ;)

Hey Daniel! That thing is teeny-tiny, perfect for an RV or someone with a really small kitchen. It was one of the models I was considering. I got myself a Danby DDW621WDB countertop machine, it's a little larger and it is every bit as capable as a modern full-sized dishwasher - it even takes my 6 quart Instant Pot with room to spare. Mine lives on the bottom shelf of a microwave oven cart beside my sink. Your Farberware looks ideal for someone who can't break their lease and attach a fill hose to the faucet aerator. My guess is you're going overkill with the Finish Powerball tabs. I found they work best in my machine if I use half a tab per cycle - less white streaks. I am on really soft water, so experiment for your situation. My machine also has a rinse aid dispenser and a detergent door, so it doesn't release detergent until the second wash. Still, it comes in at 13-15L per cycle which is less than half of what it would take to fill my sink to wash dishes by hand. Mine does not have an air refresh mode, I do have to pop open the door at the end of the cycle while the dishes are still hot enough for evaporation to take place. Your glass mode is for stemware like wine glasses and things like that - it is gentle, so it doesn't cloud up wine glasses (which don't usually get burned-on foods). Your bowl and lid could have been done on the Pots and Pans mode if your dishwasher has something equivalent. Corelle glass, like the plate in your first video, is also nearly indestructible. Congrats, man. I hate washing dishes too. :)

I would use the steam always for sterilizing purpose. Also, I would leave door cracked open until completely dry, with or without dishes, to avoid sour water smell later. That lid looked half blocked from water spray, might have been the problem. Thanks, great review! Very helpful!

I use half a tab and rapid cycle every time. I am carefully scraping off any obvious big chunks of food but otherwise dishes just go right in. I can fit a 4 place dish setting and silverware in with no prob. Love this dishwasher is one of the best experiences!

I've just watched 3 of your videos about this dishwasher -- thank you so much! My built-in blew a gasket and almost flooded by whole basement (I was running out the door to go to work when it blew -- and it wasn't even on!). I've been considering something like this for about a year because I no longer trust having something hooked up all the time, and I am sick of spending half my day off doing dishes! I really appreciated your thorough testing, and unboxing and showing all the parts. Thank you so much. I can't find this exact model anywhere but Danby has a couple of others that don't have the window in the door I will be looking at. (I'm in Canada, I checked Amazon & Wayfair, no dice, but Danby is a decent brand from what I understand). Thanks again -- I"m off to watch the one about the error code fixed. Take care & stay safe!

Thanks so much, Daniel. Because of your videos, I decided to buy this model (Oct 2021) and it's worked beautifully for my 1-person household. Instead of using the "dry" cycle, I just open up the door and slide out the tray of dishes, etc and let them air-dry overnight. For me, the rapid cycle works great 90% of the time and saves a bit on energy usage (vs. the full cycle). Now that you've had yours for a year or more, I wonder if you've run into any maintenance issues worth sharing with your fan base? Again, thanks for your help!

Since it is so compact, it can only clean "up to 12-inches in diameter at an angle" as their listing says. I wish it was slightly bigger in every direction for a few of my bigger pots but unfortunately I'm stuck scrubbing away on those. Hope this helps!

Also the pods are not recommended for smaller dish washers. As they are balanced with enough detergent etc for a regular size dishwasher. And therefore you get suds lock in this machine. ( Ever wonder why the top jet isn't moving ? Well that's the reason why my friends. ) All the soap is causing the motor to run harder than normal. And in the end, you end up with soap dried on to your dishes etc.

@@danielreviews6612 Hey Daniel I tried this I heard the beep and saw the water at the top. It didn't work seems like I got a dud machine. This one doesn't have to stay hooked to the faucet, correct? I can't imagine going hours without access to the sink while the dishwasher is running.
