Great vid. I love NYC and been about 14, 15 occasions - I have family in NJ. Had a great time in 2023 with my best mate, so good, that we’re going back for seven nights at the end of April. I too will travel light, my Fujifilm XE3, and an 18 - 55 kit lens, and my Go -Pro. Keep them coming Hannah.

Hannah, thank you so much for this wonderful vlog. You find the most interesting and atmospheric of shots. As someone suffering from agoraphobia, I feel safe almost walking in your shoes...and I must admit I'm getting itchy feet to take my camera 📷 out! Keep up the amazing and inspirational work x

Glad you enjoyed (except the costs of everything). Staten Island ferry must be the icing on the cake. The shots of Manhattan are great. So, you liked the Fuji? I had a “T” and a “V” but never warmed to them. I’d consider a “VI” .

Great Travel vlog Hannah! Go Light, Go compact is the way forward👌You got some great shots there, love the Fuji colours. Did you use a built in simulation or a custom recipe? Cool Music too 👍

Thanks Steve - FTW! I used Reggie’s Portra which I’ve tweaked a little to my own style (but only very slightly - thanks for the recommendation. It’s been my fave so far….

Pictures are really nice! Always liked your Sony pics, but it seems you´ve found the magic trick for the Fuji now. They´re looking really good. Very nice colors.

Thank you - appreciate the support 🙌🏼 Loving both systems but the Fuji was a lot of fun for this one ☺️

Great vlog Hanna and reminds me of trip we mad the the Big Apple about 20 years ago. Exciting city and so much to see and do, so you must have worn down the soles of your shoes? The Fuji X100V1 must be the perfect companion and its great to have to work with just the one focal length. Nice job. 😊

Thanks Steve! Haha - my shoes were well worn in - very much appreciated the second pair 😉 Fab place!!

It certainly is expensive there but it one to go to for images and videos! Recently went to both Toronto and Bogota and they were also brilliant so would also recommend if you haven't been to either of those to get some great pictures

Really nice images and a very enjoyable vlog! Got to say it made me nervous watching you use such an expensive camera without a strap though 😂

Couldn’t help notice you mention some other gear. You mentioned an aer sling but which one. I’ve just got a7c ii and looking for a decent camera sling to pair with it. Love your clean concise shoot vlogs!
@HannahYoungPhotography12 сағат бұрын
Hey. Thanks so much. I have the AER Day Sling 3. Love it. It can just about fit the A7C II in it but is a little tight. Also depending on what lens you use….

Ciao, thanks for sharing your experience in NY. I was curious to see how you would have managed with only the 35mm in a city that always forces you to look up and the spaces are always so small to take pictures. You did a beautiful job! The Fuji X100VI weighs a little less than your Sony A7C II with the Sony 35mm F2.8 Zeiss, so I don't understand why you decided to use Fuji giving up the full frame. I just switched from Fuji to Sony and I'm curious to understand the reason. Greetings from Italy👋. Sorry for my bad English☺

Thanks for watching too 🙏🏻 Predominately chose the Fuji for this trip to absolutely maximise weight/size. Keep it simple with a fixed lens (stops me procrastinating). It fits in that tiny tiny tech pack. And I do find the Fuji a bit more of a ‘fun’ camera. So for this trip it was perfecto. Still love the Sony though 🙌🏼

I’ve really enjoyed this video and have always wanted to go to NY. Nobody I know likes the place like I do, this makes up for not being able to go there.

The Brooklyn Bridge is just awesome, but I would want to see it without the crowds, is it ever empty, or would it be unsafe to go there very early morning? I highly recommend the PD design wrist strap, it’s comfortable and would stop accidental drops, or grab and runs. Easy to clip off/on too.
@HannahYoungPhotography16 сағат бұрын
Early morning would be perfect for the bridge I think… this was WAY too crowded. I’m really considering a PD wrist strap… did feel a little too ‘free’ with noting….
@stevenharper688813 сағат бұрын
@@HannahYoungPhotographyThe PD Leash wrist strap is a great addition 👍
