Working together, they create indisputable results and true well being. Using delicious, healing foods and simple lifestyle changes, Dr. Anna reclaimed her health and life.
Fueled by her belief that every woman deserves to be empowered and in control of their health and life, she developed the Keto-Green lifestyle, which has helped thousands of women opt out of menopause misery and experience a joyful transition to the next stage of their lives. With her methods, you, too, can breeze through menopause into your “second spring”, feeling the best you ever have.

I so appreciated this discussion, Dr. Perlmutter. Yes, there are different diets for everyone. I applaud the guest for highlighting the "real" food diets that can help us make the life transition.

I got this message now: At menopause, hot flashes are not just about estrogen deficiency; it could also be about insulin resistance.

Thank you for having Dr. Cabeca! So enlightening to hear her wealth of knowledge and her devoting her life to Women and Menopause!! 👏👏 We need Women like her to change the way we go through our transformation… I have spent already my fair share of suffering silently with little support and understanding! I’m sharing my experience with hope of bringing more awareness to this highly neglected topic!!😘❤️❤️❤️❤️✨✨✨

I have been on bio identical hormones for 15 years. The synthetic form are not good in my understanding. I am on the Wiley Protocol and I love this! Still menstruate! 67..No body fat. Feel great. I do everything else too.. good sleep, good diet, exercise, cycle ketosis. I wish more doctors understand this protocol ! Have you heard of this?

So you’re using bio-I’d hormones to still get a period at age 67? Are you actually ovulating too? If that’s the case has your skin lost any noticeable elasticity etc..? I’m Curious -truly what are the benefits in our bodies to stay in reproduction mode into our 60s and later . Do they know of any for certain?

Insulin resistance and hot flashes! YES. I went keto a few years back and my horrendous hot flashes stopped. This is the first time I've heard a doc make this connection. Thank you.

Dr. Perlmutter: At 17:04, you talk about the importance of knowing your gene variations, your genome sequence. And that there are companies that help you with this, applying algorithms? How do you get your genome sequence? And what are those companies? Could you please share?

Since I turned 35 every time I went to the Doctor they would comment it was because I was peri, menopausal, and post menopause, they would pat me on the head and send me off. So frustrating

I would love for you to feature Sara Aguilar, she is a well known Health Anthropologist, CEO of Keto Supplements and brand adviser for a number of wellness companies plus involved with Dr Anna (your guest today). She speaks at national events too. Sara is based in England but travelled over the world to source new products to bring them to the EU market. It would be really interesting to have an interview on: Keto Supplements and healthy low carb diets for: hormonal health, weight loss, reversing insulin resistance, improving mental health, athletic recovery and performance and overall wellness. - one or more of these themes could be referenced and coincide with national awareness days such as mental health awareness week, menopause awareness month etc. There is also research on ketones for anti aging and to mitigate known aging causes such as high glucose, inflammation and muscle loss. You could also consider... “A Health Anthropologist’s approach to modern health and increasing healthspan" The keto mindset shift needed in society - the shift in mindset Successful female health entrepreneurs in the wellness space

I’m reading your book. My husband does the fast metabolism diet with Halie Pomroy. How can one say don’t snack and one says do snack. How can one eat high carb and the other does not. It’s so confusing and frustrating.

@@tnt01 Yes, really. They started when I was 43 and after 8 years I went on HRT which I still take today at 65. I've tried getting off them a few times but the flashes just start up again. And I still get night sweats for 4 or 5 nights each month.

Wish there were more structure to these long, rambling feel-good interviews. You just free flow from one topic to another, without a clear, disciplined format or conclusion, before morphing over into something else. Makes it easy to space out while watching and feel empty. Please value the viewing time we are giving you. Dont just sit to chat or promote a book for 45 minutes of our time.

Talks such as this aren't to fully explain the topic. It's your responsibility to take the small bites of info and dig deeper on your own. Value what they are imparting to you. For free. Without sitting in a doctor's office, not getting full answers to your questions. Be grateful that they share these topics and their hard earned knowledge with the world.
