Being with my ex narc for the past 8 yrs. made me observe this very pattern. I think they wanted to feel very important in a way that is disturbing. Instead of building trust with their intimate partners, they destroy the trust that they built with you (in that case lying when they tried to put you in their pedestal). Once they have a committed partner, they can’t stand being loved authentically by one person. Instead they go on and prey on other women that is susceptible to their love bombing. My ex narc was a compulsive pursuer in a relationship. He would go back and forth to the women he were involved before or try to meet women in complicated situation so that going public isn’t an option while having you as their main supply. In the end they destroy the very person that loved them. They are like toddlers testing your love for them. Showing and telling them you love them isn’t enough, they will cheat on your face to make you feel inadequate even if you are more than they deserve. They want to test your love for them so they keep hurting you and when you have enough of their abuse, you leave. Then they tell you, ‘you never loved me because you abandon me’. Well in fact it’s their actions and narcissistic behavior that made you leave or in other cases they discard you and will give silly reasons of the discard. Mine would use, ‘she’s crazy’, ‘she’s a nega-star’, ‘she insults me’, ‘she cheated on me’ et al. So with this pattern of infidelities and emotional abuse (who knows what else) it’s better to walk away. I did walk away and is now rebuilding my life with our daughter. We are struggling financially because I’m not earning enough to provide for my daughter but now we get to laugh and bring with us sunshine every day. No lies, no abuse and no fake love. We only live once, forgive yourself and move forward but never forget the lesson that narc abuse taught you. That is to respect yourself to walk away from what’s hurting and destroying you. That you deserve a life of solitude, happiness and love. Wow, on point. My narcissist lied about his age to be like 6-7 years younger when we first met, kept telling people he’s British because he has relatives there when he’s actually American. The finance thing is also 10000% accurate. In my case he always act broke to gain empathy and not contributing his parts as much as he should.

My narc looks as though he is having a silent conversation with someone; he uses hand gestures and moves his lips, but nobody else is present. I think he's having a fake conversation with me because later he acts as though he had already told me what he told me in his head. He NEVER asks me where anything is. After 10 minutes, I have to ask him if I can help him find something. One time, he brought an upholstery staple gun and two sheets of paper and asked me how to staple the papers together. I thought he was joking. He raged at me because I started laughing. He has ZERO self-awareness. It's as if he's in the house alone.

My husband tried to hide that he his 100% native American, but he was forced to tell us he is by the social worker. He told us this is because he for adopted. I don't know if the fact he was adopted is the truth or not. He also lied about his financial status by telling me he is broke, but one day, he forgot To shuted down his screen. Then I saw he had 3000$ in his bank account.

When my father fell before he died and the ambulance came and put him in the hospital. He called them a liar when I asked him I heard you fell and he said they're all lying. I didn't fall and I said, well, why are you here in the hospital? Oh, they just want money from my insurance and it was incredible. He was in denial and just lying to me.

Wow so much of this resonates, from the health issues, (narc mother had a melt down when finally accepting she had another form of cancer, although i had been asking her to getva 2nd opinion as it looked nasty ,she kept putting me off saying it was fine ) narc father has always claimed to be younger, even to the point of attempting to make his grandchildren call him uncle and has also recently posted on social media saying got a visit from son and niece (actually the golden child an granddaughter thou ) he and my mother have also constantly lied about money yet would get money from others as well , covered up +lied about what they really had , even while being able to travel, buy new cars etc ,(i also see this in other ppl who have plenty of money,yet flaunt their new and shiny things and also lie about lending ppl money+ hiding the true costs of things as well as completely lying saying it was a gift , albeit a very expensive one ! ) funny really how they all think im so stupid to believe all these lies and deceit,🤣 😂😂 They dont even realise they already brought themselves undone on so many levels 💯%🤣🤣🤣 i may not be well off , however i have no need to lie about things nor flaunt in someones face , and i have done my best to help others whenever possible

Truth! My mother hides her health issues until she switches it and then asks you to go pick up her medications. She's on 5 now. I don't know if she forgets her lies or what but it's weird. THEN she uses one of the illnesses as a "trophy" or a token to elicit sympathy. This particular disease she can reverse but she won't and doesn't care. My disorders that I've had since childhood she ignored. I recall the stories and the issues I had from preschool to Senior year in high school. I discovered at 50 I HAVE ADHD!!! She shamed me for years by telling teachers and family members my challenges were character flaws instead of a brain disorder!!! She still tried to deny it even after I had PROOF!!!! THIS DEMON has lied on me to my family for years. But she will never apologize. Oh I have so much more stories that I can connect to Danish's Truth in this video. My mother is covert so she's a bit weirder. She does these things but it's been sloppy. Maybe she has other issues or comorbidities that throw it off.

Danish, this is synchronicity, like you're reading my mail! (joke) Regarding the health issue: I asked my 'narc friend' recently how she was doing & she told me she "had to go to the ER". It's a concern for me, naturally. So I asked what for. She said: "A rash". I was dumbfounded. After all, she has a doctor & we have a walk-in clinic. Then I got slightly angry (inside) bc there are REAL emergencies at the ER but of course, she's a narc, so what did I expect eh? Typical entitled narc. She said they put a piece of gauze over the shingles, and there was no pain or itching. I suspect a total LIE here. If it was shingles, she would have been given anti-viral drugs or a cream like Calamine lotion. Regarding age: In this same conversation, I told her "for the first time in my life, due to many new health concerns popping up I'm starting to feel old". Instead of listening to what I said, she came back with chiches: "You're only as old as you feel" and "age is just a number". So I said "Sorry but this is reality." As she presents herself at age 68 wearing 'young clothes' and sporting a disgusting 2-foot long grey and stringy ponytail.And further in the video about "family affairs" the subject is mute for her. She idolizes her 30 year old son (who still lives at home) over her husband. In this moment I realize how disgusted I am. Thank you Danish for putting all this together! Love from Canada.

I am 57 my mother passed a 56 years old. She was a victim of an essay at 13 so we were 14 years apart and grew up together. I miss her every day but what I was going to say is I will never lie about my age I am blessed to live this long. And I will be blessed to live into my 80s and see my grandkids and great-grandkids. I keep telling everyone I meet how old I am which is 68. Instead of them acknowledging that whenever I am in a group of people most of whom are younger than me then whoever is leading keeps on assuming I am not old. No matter how many times they have seen my age in print. Which once led one of them to tell me I should apply to become an R.C.M.P. officer when I was already age 60. I am not healthy as a horse at all. So I am wondering why this is happening to me. Is that only because I like wearing pants whilie keeping my distance from people and so they cannot see all of the fine lines on my face and hands? My guess is that in around 5 years or so then everybody will know I am old not just me.

My narc mother has hynia in her anus and i mentioned she should go see a dr so it can be taken care of she looked at me and said ( what can a Dr do that I cant do? ) from that day i never cared anymore because she doesn't care about her health and thinks food will heal her. Shes in her 70s now and gotten worse and the anus hynia has dropped to her holding it when she needs to wear knickers.
