Yay! I used to struggle with sketchbooks, because I would make a drawing I didn't like and rip it out and make a mess. Now I buy notebooks. I use legami erasable pens to write my short stories in. Chapters separated by washi tape, I use other pages for stamps, stickers, and postcards, so it's like a scrapbook and then any drawings I make on loose paper that I am happy with I stick in.

I love the Legami erasable pens! I collect them, those that are 1.99, that have the animals on the caps. Have you seen the new, sea themed ones? It's a sea turtle, a clown fish and a seahorse. Super cute.

@@anamariefalk3796 If you have some watercolors, any brand will do, use a wash of watercolor paint to "set" your graphite into the page. You can use neutral colors or use a tint to give your sketch a "mood" with a corresponding color! IE : Blue mood or Fiery RED!

I wanted to share some of my tips bc i love this video so much. 1. Just paint the page your favorite color, pink, green, yellow, whatever. Because even if you don't like the drawing on top at least the color is nice. 2. Do you have packaging from a food you bought or a tag from your new shirt or plush, stick it in, just because! Maybe it will inspire you. Samething with patches, buttons, etc, stick it in! 3. Blind contour, it may be ugly but hey, you got your hand moving at least

I love all the ideas! I have the same small sketchbook steph has and mine is also such a chunky boi haha. I discovered how much i adore multimedia arts. One thing i do when i dont know what to draw is just to 'play' with art supplies on a page. I just grab whatever, a pencil, watercolor, gouache, stickers and go absolutely ham. Just turn my brain off and go purely with curiosity and playfulness. My result is oftentimes something like modern art, just a colorful page of paintblobs and streaks. Then on the page next to it i draw something fitting the color palette of my chaos page. Its also a great way to warm up before drawing

A few weeks ago I was erasing in my journal and tore the page (luckily not on the drawing). But I was able to mend it with Washi tape making a much more aesthetic mend then just clear scotch tape.

What a great video. Yes, Adam, we have bubble tea here in the US. We have two kinds of balls. 😂 We have the one filled with liquid that pops when you bite into it. The other is made out of tapioca and is chewy. I love your sketchbook suggestions videos. Please do another one soon. The collaboration one was excellent. Yes, some of us Americans tend to be quite patriotic. But, it is true. Freedom is not free. Post its are cute but not acid free and the glue isn’t archival. So it could yellow and eventually make havoc in your sketchbooks but it could take years. So it depends on how much you keep your sketchbooks
