They were smart the blade is spear point one side is sharp and it's a punch dagger pretty much and you don't need the other side sharp you punch that thing it's sliding in. And it's 100% legal

I am slowly adding a swedge to reduce the spine thickness of my dozier2 in d2. The thick spine on the dozier 2 is very inconvenient too often, but with my new swedge, I hope to accomplish all of my tasks like opening paint buckets, reaching into square corners to remove the last bits of wood that won't come out, and other such building maintenance style tasks. It's crazy how close the knife was to perfect , save for the super thick spine all the way down to the tip of the blade. I am super happy that I am making the modification, which is probably how your video showed up in my feed. It's crazy how close a knife can be to perfect, but with just the right personal modifications can be exactly what you need.

I like the idea of it. I have the fixed blade version (have one) but only carry it occasionally. It’s just simply easier to carry a folder. This seems to “split the difference”. But (and maybe it’s due to the way a folder is built), the angle seems different on this folding version than the fixed blade:

It’s a nice design. But personally I carry a coldsteel vaquero xl. Very hard to beat a tri-ad lock an the reach is almost 12 in. From the back grip. I do like the slide lock. I don’t understand these KZbin knife influencers that think because they look at new knives they understand what real working men need. One of them was talking about self-defense blades. I asked him what was his background that gives him knowledge about what works during a violent encounter. He told me he’s from a city and he went to jail. I personally don’t think that compares to my 10 years of kali, escrima, FCS, small circle jujitsu, Jkd, kravMaga, hapkido. Not mention the army. But hey he’s from the city 😮 😅😊 Great video

It’s mostly dremmel skills. You can see how I marked it up in the video. I have a ton of machining experience so if you are new to messing with blades, be very careful. Oh, and I had the blade dismounted from the knife while I was working on it.

great ideas...doing the pocket clip mod...please do knife hack channel...im going to use mine sans back sharpen as a travel knife as it is under 3 inches legal most places...

If your going to do mods, please keep that on a secondary channel and keep this channel exactly how it's been. This channel should be just for true to heart no sponsored knife reviews and nothing else. If you do modding please make a second channel for that.

Yeah I definitely don't think metal complex is doing anything more then cutting tape on boxes open with his knives... I would be willing to bet that's his version of hard use. But so long as it's got timascus and a "premium" steel then it's a great knife to metalcomplex.
