How do you get the Vashek Kroutil bind to bind? I am spreading my hand while the string is wrapped around it and when I let go and let the yoyo drop, the string it doesn't bind. Pls help I have been at this for a week now...

Don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but I can’t seem to get the chopstick one to bind. I throw it up and it just slacks and doesn’t catch. I have to be missing something. Is there a common mistake people make with that one? Loving these videos!

John D that one is toughhh lots of b roll with the same thing happening to me lol. This sounds silly, but really flick your non throw hand thumb into the Yoyo gap as you’re swinging your Yoyo up. Because the Yoyo is spinning the same direction it’s mounted on the string (Yoyo is spinning toward your throw hand, that chopsticks is mounted over top of your thumb that is on the side of the Yoyo the string will want to just spin off of and not bind up) , if this string isn’t making a good amount of contact with the Yoyo (it’s already a small amount of string) like you said it will just slack and fall out. Another thing is to make sure your release is gentle, so the string has an opportunity to catch. It’s easy wth your non throw hand just to fling the Yoyo full force into the air and the string will not grab. But if you just sort of lob it up, like a toss instead of a throw, that will give the string more time to grab Sorry for the novel! I hope this helps!!!

Recess Intl no dude don’t apologize at all, I wish more people would give explanations like that! This is a cool bind so I’m going to work on this and get it down. I’ve probably done 60 repetitions since watching this video and I’ve gotten a bind 3 times. Haha. I’m about to try out the tips you just gave. Thank you! I love these tutorials. Please make more.

Recess Intl I got it! I FINALLY got it! Your comment about flicking the thumb was key. It really does have to be lobbed in there to bind up. Took me literally at least 120 attempts to get it, but now I can do it. Thanks Tyler!
