I liked this video. But, i cant seem to slow the car as quickly as F1 ESports drivers. Like in Australia, turn 1 i start to stop the car at about the 100m board and start my turn in at about the 50m board. But Jarno Opmeer seems to stop the car at like the 50m board and still gets the car to turn in. Absolutely incredible. Soz how does he break so late? And he seems to do it on every corner.

It's actually easier with the pad...Since you get feedback (vibration) to your fingers, when the tyres are about to lockup. When doing it with pedals, there is no feedback at all. You just have to know (muscle memory, and maybe visual clues). You would think it would be easier to manage with pedals (that's what I also thought), but it's not. It's a hard thing to master on pad an wheel (pedals), but the learning curve is a lot tougher for the pedals, if you ask me.

Okay im very new to the game what are the things that i need to learn to become good. Im a competitive person so i learn quick
@souldry5 жыл бұрын
If you’re new to driving/racing games in general, it’s just putting in the time. It won’t be very quick. You have to get used to the way the car handles and why it does what it does. And you’ll only be able to do that through repeating lap after lap. A lot of these guys drive like they do because they’ve done thousands of laps on each track. Playing without assists is the most difficult and most frustrating, but ultimately it has the biggest payoff. Without assists, you get a true understanding of what the car is doing and why through repetition. In the beginning, I could maybe do 1 lap out of 10 without crashing or screwing up horribly. But yeah, for me the most important thing to learn as a beginner was braking into a corner. Getting used to the exact braking zone and being able to accurately and incrementally decrease brake pressure so as to avoid lock ups and approach the apex at optimal speed. Following that with learning to properly throttle out of a corner without having the back end step out. Again, this is all improved through repetition and muscle memory. Braking into a corner and throttling out are two of the most important and difficult things to learn(at least they were for me). Once you get those down as your foundation, everything else becomes easier.

racing is a science in itself.

Is it weird that i'm at least 1 second slower while using ABS?(Q lap) i mean i can't fucking turn the thing with ABS on as i use to take advantage of a little lock up on my inside tyre to turn better in tight corners. a little inside lock _as long is it's controlled_ is always good to me.
