Haven't made this yet, planing on making a king quilt, got all the fabric but still procrastinating, doing your last version but instead of sew down the focus fabric when you curl the window frame over, at that point im going to put a backing on then free motion quilt down the window frame and focus fabric, saving myself some time...

Sounds like it will look awesome 😎

I love the look of a cathedral window quilt but have no desire or patience to make one. 😂
@seweasybysandy11 ай бұрын
Yeah, most people feel that way but if you try it you'll get hooked, particularly if it's this easy!

This is beautiful it takes a lot of fabric though. I have a light blue polkadot fabric for curtains which would be great as it is thin. Love the fabric you use. Happy Santo Stefano.

Thank you 😁 some take up more.fsbric than others but none takes up as much fabric as the original version.

if i use 5 inch squares instead of of 4 inch ones, does that mean the strip to go with it has to be 8.5 inches instead of 7.5?

It's a beautiful quilt,but I shy away from it😂..I want to make the double wedding ring so bad, but it's scary to me and I've been quilting along time❤ I even have 2 ruler templates to use...😂 maybe one day I'll be brave enough...Video was very helpful thank you!

That's definitely the kind of projects we want to make, the ones that are scary!! Heheh. I feel the same about the La.Passacaglia quilt, which I will be finishing next year 😁

You have the finished quilt top what about the back. How was that finished off.
@seweasybysandy8 ай бұрын
I haven't made a quilt top for this video, only separate quilt blocks but there are a lot of finished quilts in the playlists if you'd like to take a look.

I love the fabrics you use in your videos. Would you mind telling where I might find them? Thank you. Penny, new subscriber.
@seweasybysandy8 ай бұрын
Hi Penny, welcome! I have fabrics from all over, I just like going to the shops here in Portugal or when I travel and getting what I like. Brand wise I have a lot from Anna Maria Horner, the others I'm not sure even have a brand. 🤷

Any of the first 3 options look doable…that last one not so much
@seweasybysandy11 ай бұрын
Yeah, I added it because it's an easier option that looks.like the traditional one but it wouldn't be my choice either
