Jorbs, thinking about synergies and in a void, would you say that having a protect in your Deck would make you more or less inclined to pick a Spirit Shield? (For the record, this would be an A20 watcher run with a LOT of meh damage cards added already, so the defence is sorta needed. 20 card deck atm)

He's at odds with Watcher. Not necessarily hates her but she is kind of imbalanaced towards being too strong. And because she is complex she makes runs take long, he gets tired, annoyed etc. So he probably just wasn't of the mood to play Watcher. Like I said, not hate but his common response when asked who he likes the most, his answer is something to the tune of "All three characters are great,"

He takes it pretty regularly now, yeah. Said that it was because of a relatively recent change when they removed White Beast Statue and Lizard Tail from the boss pool

If you care about winning then you always boss relic swap on ironclad and watcher. It's not as good on silent and defect but still a strong option.

Hexaghost fight is primarily a dps race. Piercing wail is primarily useful only on the x6 turns (nice on occasional x2). Exhausting it to get it out of the deck might be a motivation.
