Booster packs are so fun but definitely not maintainable long term for a single set. definitely need to buy responsibly!

I like faux leather binders because heat transfer vinyl works great on them. I get the regular printable sheets and just print high definition images from google. Really ups the personalization.

I’m still relatively new to collecting Pokémon Cards and to begin with I just bought a packs and the odd ETB from various sets to get a general feel for the products before I ultimately decided on a specific set which is Paldaea Evolved. I love the look of the set, especially those illustration rares which there are many in Paldaea Evolved. I have collected over 200 cards from the full set so far, unfortunately not the big 3 in Magikarp SPR, Iono SPR and Raichu SPR but I do have most of the others. I’ve pulled most of the cards from packs initially but lately I’ve also started to check out some of the local card shops in search of any PE cards that they have for sale as I know the chances of pulling them in packs now are slim so it’s a no brainer. I laughed at the idea of collecting Pokémon cards for years and yet here I am, dedicated 🤣🤣🤣

Just bought my first cardass card, clearly I'm not focused as a collector haha, but that may be the first direction i go. Just pick up one per month as a little treat ☺️

hi! i’ve recently gotten into pokémon collecting and have been looking for a good binder for long-term use, any recommendations?! i came across a chinese eeveelution binder which piqued my interest since it was unique and seemed rly high quality though i haven’t seen many reviews made on it. pls lmk your thoughts on this, ty!
@sleevenocardbehind11 ай бұрын
Most binders available today are pretty good and you’ll probably end up getting a few as your collection grows. My recommendation would be the VaultX (or similar) zipper binder on Amazon. If the Eeveelutions binder you’re looking at is at all similar, I’m sure it’s a good purchase.

Such good advice, id say I’ve protected my cards really well. But I can improve the protection & this has me wanting to do it in the safest ways possible. Thanks :)

I want to collect artist specific cards. I didn't know that until i kind of bulk bought very common cards that just looked nice to me too get back into it. I'm literally still waiting for them to arrive😂 In the wait time, i got into the initial happiness rush of picking cards i would have loved as a kid at 50 cents per piece, and realized the few weird and funky or watercolor or pencil drawn ones really catch my interest the most. Can't wait to grab a few binders. Those are expensive though, for where I'm at financially right now. If it was only one, that would be okay. So that's where I'll stay, and the rest I'll find a way to protect in the meantime. I'd rather buy bulk lots from a game store i trust to gamble with than booster packs right now. In part because of money, but also because i find there's only a few hyper rare or full art cards that I covet. The ones i want, i Really want, and I'll save up for. The rest that i like are vintage or common and seem to be in decent supply and reasonable with a few exceptions. Many of those exceptions are still save up to reachable. Maybe not the fancy charizard, I'll likely be without him unless it's heavily damaged, but I'm okay with that. Because it's for me, not for others.

90s kid here who just got back into the hobby. What about focusing on collecting illustration Pokemon cards?? Does that seem too broad of a focus?? I discovered them at a card shop and I think they're the coolest ever.

Hello there...I have no idea if I will actually get an answer but I thought I'll give it a shot! I collected Pokémon cards like 20 years ago and unfortunately sold everything back then...( It hurts...it really does...) Now my son started beeing interested and the hype is back on! I felt absolutely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of series, rarity grades and so on and your videos already helped me alot! So thank you for that!!! Now...I want to restart my own collection and already thought of focusing on one particular set to start with ... before watching this video. I decided it's going to be the Japanese version of 151. Beeing someone that grew up with Pokémon and beeing there when the TCG was first released...the 151 set just speaks to my soul directly 😂 BUT ...is it really something that can be achieved? Is it a smart choice? For someone that starts at 0 in the end of 2024? I have no idea what's the highest priced card in this set....I dont even really understood yet how many cards/ variants it actually holds. If anyone would know a page or something where I can find information about that it would be highly appreciated 🙏 I still would like to open SOME packs...just for the fun...and then simply buy singles. So...if anyone has advice for me... or thinks it's the worst idea ever... please share your opinion with me I would be really grateful 🙏🙏🙏

Welcome back to the hobby! So the Japanese 151 set is actually cheaper to complete than the English version, and shouldn't be too difficult, with one caveat. The master ball reverse holo. I don't know what your financial situation is but if you're like most people, a complete master set of the Japanese 151 including the Master ball reverse holos is going to be difficult. If you want to join my discord server (link is in the description of most of my videos) we'd love to have you and we can help you figure out an achievable goal to share with your son. Its 100% free by the way

@@sleevenocardbehind i don't care about how much something costs. The excitement of pulling something nice is why we do this. You won't always get nice stuff, but you get to build a set with 6. I'd be happy with that. FYI, I don't gamble at all.
