As a Lord Rocket main, this is some pretty solid advice. I've never even been asked to swap off of Rocket by anyone but the enemy team, and that's the way we Rockets do it 😎 Also a few tips I would like to throw out there personally: just explore all the maps as much as you can, look for nooks and crannies to stuff your BRB in, look for positions to hold up high, and most importantly--get used to the exit strategies on each map. Know a place you can run up a wall and through a small hole? Postion by that and no one will ever be able to catch you. Another one is that Rocket has the highest non-ultimate damage output of any support with some of the highest accuracy in the game (there is a lot of damage drop off so you need to be close, but) you can 100-0 most tanks in less than 3 seconds if you get in their face and just hold your cursor on their head. And last but not least: get as used to the dashes as you can and don't over-use them for engagements. You should use the dash enough that you can accurately guess where you'll end up after it every time and if you plan to fight someone, make sure you always have at least 1 dash in the chamber just in case. This has been tips with Keith Edit: Some extra dash tips I just remembered--unless you are clung to a wall, you will always dash where you are looking. This means that you can just look straight up and dash to get some quick vertical distance, but I've noticed the mechanic works a little differently when you are wall-climbing. Instead of dashing where your camera is looking, will boost you in the direction you are currently running on the wall and it will also dash you further than if you were to do it from a standing position. I've been able to use this on maps like the Midtown New York payload map, I just quickly cling to the objective and press shift and I'm high enough to see all of my allies, escape an Iron Fist, or even 1v1 an Iron Man. If you are being dove, you should also try to dash *into* your team as much as possible. This can break line-of-sight abilities like Iron Fist or Scarlet Witch and it forces whoever dove you to dive through the rest of your team if they still want you so bad.

that groot tip is op 4:09.. i main rocket but never even thought about that. cuz sometimes my dash be on cooldown and i done fucced myself

@ not the first time i heard of the team up. i knew of the team up before i even played. i’m sayin that was my first time thinking to use the team up as an extra dash while waiting for my cooldowns

5:39 i get told to switch off rocket often and i never listen. mf told me once he was gonna report me lol. but you mighta just humbled me. when you say burst damage tho, gimme an example of who you mean so i know who to look out for so i can try switchin off him if i need to

Moon Knight or Hela are considered burst damage heroes. anyone that can deal a lot of damage in a small amount of time.
