With Baldur’s Gate 3 almost upon us we’ve been thinking about the evil gaming moments that make us feel good. Why did we do this the week Rob is away?
From Red Dead Redemption train robberies to picking off characters in The Quarry, these are the evil decisions that make the Access team happy. What are the evil choices you make in games that you secretly enjoy? Let us know in the comments!

I rarely play 'evil' per say, but went full out nasty in _Fallout: New Vegas_ on PS3. Some of the options are just so grim, but delicious. And, unlike most games, I was rewarded with ruling the entire New Vegas wasteland for it XD

Spent way too much time appreciating the gore/flesh system in Dead Island 2. Hitting zombois who were already down and then crouching to appreciate just how realistically a bone pokes through the skin. Delightful. Oh and hitting people with skateboards in skate 3

There are a lot of fun renegade choices in ME2. I also like encouraging the biotic god to fight the mercenaries with an enthusiastic 'charge...'.

I don't know if it counts as an evil choice - but for me Hitman brings out the most sadistic side of me, there's something about going into contracts mode, picking a random civilian and finding the most inventive way to kill them with no-one noticing. Also in Hitman 3, in the Dartmoor mission, getting to slowly turn the family against one another

A wise man once said "it's so easy when you're evil" and in video games, it is 100% accurate. My personal favorite is Carrion, which is basically "The Thing but you are the alien monster". Torturing the scientists and soldiers and throwing their floppy bodies around as you go on your rampage is way too much fun

Dave you are so unashamedly evil oh my gosh. 🤣 For me it's killing the hares in The Long Dark. I love the game, but I also love rabbits and the animation is so gruesome I can't even watch it and it makes me feel horrible.

The best for me will always be Manhunt. I’ll never forget playing with my brother and the opening scene tells you to pick up a plastic bag and I remember looking over at him and saying “they’re not really going to let me murder someone with a plastic bag.” But yep they sure did. I’ve never raised my hands in anger at another person in my life, but the long kills, especially with a baseball bat in that game were for me the most satisfying of any game before or since.😂

7:34 Why Dave, that's downright 'Dastardly'. If 2 playthroughs are required I always do quiet/stealth/good run first, then go rampaging savage on my 2nd evil playthrough. Its *GREAT* Stress relief after a "goody two shoes" run with save scumming trying to keep everything 'clean'. *TRUST ME*

I never try RE Resistance but from Rosie descriptions it sounds like really fun to play especially with friends. Maybe i will give it a try when i install RE 3 remake again. As for my evil gaming moments, pretty much all 'evil' moments in GTA and Watch Dogs 2 😁

In the first Fallout game I once killed every NPC in every town/ place. I started with the Brotherhood of Steel because of a self imposed rule where I also had to loot every corpse and stuff the loot in a locker. There are a lot of lockers in the Brotherhood of Steel and I ended up needing most of them. Considering this is already a world ravaged by nuclear world war struggling to get back on its feet I'd say that was pretty evil. I just wanted to see if it was possible, really, and it was. Did gave me a sense of accomplishment.

i genuinely can't remember the last time a was evil in a game the payoff usually isnt as good but in hitman world of assassination trilogy i would often laugh maniacly when everithing fell into place and i had a perfect kill.

Recently started playing Deception IV The Nightmare Princess. The whole game is playing as the devil's daughter trapping people in horrific and hilarious ways. I laughed so hard the first time I got someone in an endless trap combo that involved catapulting them into a wall and them walking into a rake over and over again. Honestly one of the most unique games I've played and although you wouldn't think it at first glance, when the difficulty starts ramping up you Really have to have your thinking cap on to maim these poor folks properly.

It's only evil if you're a Chelsea fan, but... In the old manager sims, when Chelsea first bought their titles, I'd start a 2 player game. Chelsea & any other team. Chelsea would 'surprisingly' overpay for all my bad players, and sell me their best for nothing. I'd then leave Chelsea, and watch them get relegated, as I ascend.😊

I mostly don't do evil actions or renegade choices in gaming. Though sometimes it can be really fun especially if the character you do the evil action is a real prick from the start and had it coming.

I've been playing Baldur's Gate 3, a good normal playthrough as much as I can as I struggle with playing evil in most games like Dave, but I do want to try and do an evil playthrough at some stage, you can even kill or banish your companions (I'd go into more detail but don't want to spoil), but I just don't think I could bring myself to making some of the choices that it gives you, they've just crafted the NPC's and companions so well that being the bad guy feels so wrong as it's like they're real people, you get so immersed in the game.

For me Blood Omen 2 was one of the most fun I have had playing a game as a evil character (I know Blood Omen 2 is considered one of the weakest entries in the Legacy of Kain but for me it was so much fun? Just playing as character who laughs a he's battering people and sucks blood from the floor like it's a straw lol I would love a remaster of all this Games

I still prefer Inside than Little Nightmares. Inside is one of the best horror games ever. It's really scary, but somehow it's also very relaxing to me.That's why sometimes I still replay it.

Vanilla evil is such an accurate term. Agreed, you genuinely feel evil in rdr2 when being evil. How did it do that? My evil was executing Lord Shimura in Ghost of Tsushima - twice, gladly. I know the correct decision was to spare him. However, he was a total douche nozzle to Jin throughout the game. Could not resist. No pondering. No qualms. Death!

The most evil gaming moment for me was playing Cult of the Lamb. I was cooking a meal for my cult (because they need to eat), and when the food was served, it was okay but then some of the followers were getting sick. I didn't think anything of it, I thought it was the grass bowl one (the lowest food you could eat because it was all I had). What I didn't realize was that I forgot I had the remains of a follower who just passed away from old age. I was gonna use them as fertilizer but ended up cannibalising him instead. Well a follower became a non-believer and tried to denounce my cult and make my followers betray me. Thankfully, I was close to leveling up the cult and was about to get my next perk. I had to imprison the disciple, too. I choose "The Cannibalism" perk, and it was accepted. Then I put the disciple as the next person to sacrifice, then I cooked the disciple's remains for everyone to eat. I saved my game but at a terrible price lmao.

A game I play that you wouldn't think at first as an evil game is Chess. Unlike most players going for the win in as little moves, as fast as possible. I prolong the game, and take all my opponents pieces. I take no prisoners nor do I aim to play it like that it's just the way I am. I've had someone tell me if I were a warlord I'd be a full-blown war criminal. I definitely don't play in the most efficient way, but I thought that one was a bit much.
