REALLY appreciate you taking the time to put great tips out. So much of this stuff used to be learned through trial and error, and /or only if you were lucky enough to have someone take you under their wing. We’re fortunate to have people like you and John Meadows.... and Seth.

I find it helps also if you visualize pushing the weight downward at the bottom of the movement then outward as you raise it. ie pushing the weight furthest away from your body throughout the movement it keeps the tension on the shoulder and away from the traps

The basics are the most important ... How true , I can look at my 36 year old copy of Unleashing the Wild Physique and smile knowing every fancy machine , nautilus and piston/pulley exercise folks do today , we started out doing with just barbells and dumbbells. Great vid , another home run.

Damn Fouad nice content ur publishing for free, thank you for that. Would love to see a video about 1-2 weeks before competition prep, about sodium intake, water intake, carb intake, tan, diuretics, maybe carb load few hours before stepping on stage, few days before competition how much water to drink etc. Since u have been bodybuilding for a long time i do think u have some good knowledge how to come in competition sharp and to avoid mistakes since I'm myself am prepping for a competition in 4 weeks. Thanks!

I think to try and explain your wrists up theory is that it seems to shorten the head just that little bit as compared to bent wrist which seems to lengthen the shoulder head just that very slight difference makes a difference. kinda like the more you twist your wrist (pinky up) the shorter your bicep gets. I could be wrong that is just how it feels to me and my best way to explain it

Love your videos Fouad. You got me through the gym shutdowns with your rubber band workouts. Still love those. My apartment is still set up with bands jammed into doors. But I am back at the gym. What I don;'t get is I have been working out in a disciplined manner for 6 years. I lift the same weights as you, same reps same weights. I literally did this same exact workout today. Yet my Biceps are 15 inches. Is it just a matter of time? By the way I am 70. I see gains weekly and monthly, but not substantial size gains. I work with intensity. Do I just give up and call it genes. I also take a moderate TRT.

Fouad, Im still considering doing rear delts everyday at the end of each workout, lighter weight After quads, back, push workout, doesn't matter. Just each day (except the off days here and there). Just 3 sets one day, 300 reps the other day, supetset here and there, or just a few sets of static hold every once in a while. Changing each exersice ever time. What do you think?
