I used to hate chenille yarn is was a pain on the end 😋 to knit. I am so grateful for your helpful video, loved the knitted everything. As to the desk makeover my respect I tell husband all the $$$ spent on good paint and brushes and for what such a mediocre results, no thanks. I trying to paint some of the vintage wooden shelves the ones with the cutout hearts and of course I plan to finish them, and then do more and more and maybe one day I can do it. at first I can't get it because you changed the names of the stitch stich and the purl stitch ☺️. Yes you mentioned that is for the sake of the beginners. Thank you for the inspiration. You earned a new subscriber. From North Texas.

I have learned more about crocheting watching your videos I'm left handed and no one I knew could teach me the stitches and explain them. The chunky yarn is great for seeing the individual stitches it's very helpful thank you

I am 72 years old. I have not done crocheting for over 60 years. Now, I would like to try the blanket and pillow. You inspired me on the pampas leaves. I did a few. I made baskets too from what I saw from other artists. It was the best 2 weeks in Aug 2021.

I know how it feels to have fur babies in camera , I have on line classes and my fur babies are always butting in . the students love seeing them . It adds fun to the class and breaks the tension .. your babies are lovely ..

@@TheReclaimedHeirloom Wow!! The vanity turned out so lovely, I try to keep some wood (if it’s beautiful) to see. This vanity def looks so much more expensive now ! I really appreciate all the chunky knit/crochet teaching! Just beautiful and your technique is so easy to understand and doable! Thank you! Ps there is another KZbinr that lives in Canada and she goes to the garbage dump and has gotten some really nice pieces of furniture and vases and flower pots etc that people were just throwing away. Just an idea. 😉

I'm so excited! My teens are out of school for the day for conferences, so I'm taking the day off work. My toddler is napping. It's a bombing 53° outside on this beautiful October late morning and I get to sit quietly in my sunroom looking out to the Whitetails walking and snacking on the trail they have through the back of my property and catch up on videos I've never seen from my favorite channel. I'm ordering some of the chunky chenille yarn so I can start on a big throw. I have tried crocheting when I was a teen and I just couldn't get it down correctly. I would make some stitches too tight and others too loose so I think the finger knitting will be a perfect way for me to get back into something I've always wanted to do. I can't wait to try the pumpkins. My birthday is in 6 days so fall is naturally my favorite season😊. I love neutral-colored fall decor. So cozy.

Morning Christina, such a relaxing and beautiful video, my goodness. The knitted pumpkins are so cute and the textured plastic ones oh wow. Who would have guessed. Oh, the project with your friend's table is so grand. What a make-over, just lovely. The seed stich is lovely, I grew up with mom's using that stich along cable stiches for - babies., toddlers, actually all ages! It looked great on the pillow and throw/blanket. It is a close stich so it will be snug, much better than the granny square blankets, I always thought all the body heat escapes through those holes!! Thank you Christina for the most interesting tutorials. Were those gorgeous dogs groomed, for I can see their coats have been trimmed and he looks super smart. Dimitri is just so beautiful, he must have a very grand pedigree. He is very aristocratic!! Kind regards

I wish I had the patience to learn how to do this. Since I don’t I’m making knitted pumpkins out of already made sweaters in fall colors. You can get at least 5 various sized pumpkins out of one sweater. I’ve already made 6 and I love them. I never thought to use knitted hats. That would make it even easier. When I finish with them, I'm eager to start on. your chunky throw blanket and pillow---I think they'd make great Christmas gifts! I also loved the tour of your new Victorian home!
