I can't say I'm a fan of every game on this list, but I'm always interested in hearing why people like certain games, especially in GotY videos like this. I'd definitely be interested in seeing a Breath of the Wild, Hat in Time or NieR video by you, but I'm looking forward to whatever you have planned. Keep up the good work, my man.

Like your vids...keep at it man. Also, played The Sexy Brutale a month ago or so, it was awesome. Usually not a huge adventure game fan but it really pleasantly surprised me.

Agreed, man. I was stunned by how good it was. I can't remember the last time a game took me by surprise to that extent. It'll be in my top 5 this year for sure.

Jim Sterling had Sexy Brutale on his list, otherwise I'd have missed it too. You're right, great game. I also highly recommend Speed Runners. The soundtrack for that one isn't as stylish as SB's, but it fits really well. Lastly, if you've started listening to MBMBAM, have you also checked out The Adventure Zone?

VZedshows Balance was amazing. Wasn't as in to Commitment but have enjoyed Amnesty so far (still have the last ep to go). Solid list of game you have here by the way. I'm looking forward to grabbing Hat In Time in a sale.

I'd love to see a Nier Automata video from you, sir. Great picks, overall, and I understand the Danganronpa plug. I felt the same way after finishing those games. It's a genius series.

I'm not sure i had a bad gaming experience this year, but i will admit a lot of it was made up of games from other years. Danganronpa was such a huge inclusion in that that i really couldn't in good faith not mention it in my year end wrap up video.

* If you've enjoyed RE7, ABSOLUTELY check *Detention* (check Grimbread's review) and then *Darkwood* (check Mandalore's review). Despite RE7 and Evil Within 2 being amazing AAA horror games, Detention and esp. Darkwood are two of the most interesting horror games I've played in a long time, ever since P.T. * Check out MrClemps analysis/summary video of Drakengard/Nier series. He gave me a give appreciation on Yoko Taro's work, as well as I understood a lot many references in Nier Automata.

I am going to a Hat in Time soon so looking forward to it. I didn't care for BOTW but I did enjoy Nier. I didn't like Nier as much as other people though.
