@Jonathon Aslay To make a short story long, (sorry)... Having been born into a highly dysfunctional environment, I could've used it as a convenient excuse to use & abuse others, but instead chose to treat people with care & respect, & without judgment...however, i was met by a societal caveat I wasn't prepared for, & that has had a profound, lifelong negative affect on my life...I'm an overweight woman, living in a SUPER superficial society, hence, I became the best spouse/friend/neighbor, etc...I could be, trying to convince people that I was not the "lower life form" I was perceived as. Needless to say, I'm a pariah among men...despite having all the qualities of a solid, loving, loyal & supportive partner, they claim to want. Men have taught me that as long as women "fit the right physical mold", they'll never want for the love of foolish men, (& there's plenty of them). At 56 yrs old, I'm finally learning my value & learning to like myself, & I refuse to spend any more of my life trying to be all that men want me to be when I'm more than good enough as I am.

I think the conversation on "feminine" and "masculine" energy is legitimate. After six years of having to take over everything from my late spouse, while Alzheimer's killed him, I learned from several doctors that the testosterone flooding I was undergoing fueled me, to be pro-active and assertive in protecting our economic situation. Then the pandemic hit, and my isolation was compounded. Today, I'm STILL struggling to relax and let men (or women) do things for me, accept help, go ahead and "lean back" sometimes, to let him take the lead. I can tell you, it's a tremendous relief to me to just receive sometimes, just let someone else lead. I'm grateful for "masculine" energy. It's clear enough to me that being purely "feminine" or "masculine" ALL the time isn't healthy for anyone; It sure as hell wasn't for me. We all need to be fully human, in other words, flexing between taking the lead, and letting others lead. Everybody needs a goddamn break, including the most macho males.

I love that you have discussed this!! Women can be more masculine and some men as in( hetrosexual) are more feminine. I have moments when I'm operating at a more masculine energy and I have been working on being in my feminine energy more. I don't come off as brash and intimidating. Emotional maturity is another big one. Everyone needs to know themselves. Love themselves before you even attempt to date 🤗 I'm going to be purchasing your self love book this week! Thank you for all that you do on here and helping the collective heal and grow to have healthy relationships. 🙏💕

my fav word is "totality" which implies the completeness, wholeness, oneness, and holistic of a person and that is the ultimate purpose of getting into a relationship so that we can con't to be ourselves and who we truly are and vice versa for our partner. I have experienced, heard, and worked with experts with terrible advices out there who neglect and even forgo their own inner work and reflection. This 20-minute clip is the most aligned, informative, uplifting, thoughtful, and encouraging I have heard for a long time about relationships out there... 👍

I know a guy with a wicked mother wound . He can't help but make every girl he's ever known an enemy. He completly shuts down any form of emotion. Makes up excuses why we can't be together one thing or another. I read if you grow up with a mother who acted from her masculine like single mothers. Working mothers. i read that it subconsciously turns the child against there feelings. Feelings were the enemy . So in turn females would auto subcon do the same he can't help it. Like wise I have a mother wound my core subconscious belief is I don't matter. I would feel a guy close and I would text a bunch of truths at him knowing I never hear from again . Until him. Huh. He keeps changing the rules on me without telling me. Just lets me figure it out . If his actions aren't supposed to be any reflection of how he feels about me like say he won't answer texts for a week or two. But still wsnt to see you agsin and doesn't feel any different then before. But then his words word say. One thing actions be the complete opposite. So the rules are he showing by his actions what he wants. Then he told me he loved me still didn't want to be together but. Not that I wanted that either actually he's not the type of guy that's a good bfriend for anyone. But I think he wants to be . Deep down inside. Just doesn't feel capable. Anyways I just want a little more attention . Feel ignored all the time. Like I don't matter go figure thanks mom how the hell do you change subconscious core beliefs ? For real.wgawhat other beliefs are in there I don't know about. How does he make peace with feelings. ??? . Anyways he's not completely seeing the whole picture with the masculine and fem . There's more to it silly. just a little insight on some other fem energy stuff and how it effects our wounds "WE'RE ALL MAD HERE"
