It should be okay to point out something very obvious here: In a world where something like 0.5-0.6% of adults are trans, and little more are gay, trans and gay people have somehow completely co-opted an entire movement initially made to help (cis) women gain all their autonomy and rights. By reducing testosterone there is still only a small decrease in muscle and bone density. HRT also does not change the internal organs in any way meaning trans women still have advantages in other ways. As a feminist, I’d argue that not wanting trans women in sports is possibly a more feminist approach than anything. No matter how much hormonal regulation is done, the advantage does not go away. Your body structure essentially still remains the same. Messed up how they came for Emma when all she did was voice her views and give out facts respectfully.

People who play sports professionally are statistically biologically advantaged. Plenty of cis women have above-average T levels, bone density, lung capacity, hip-to-shoulder ratio, etc. The presence or absence of testosterone DOES affect many of these things. That is largely why trans men undergoing HRT are even able to compete with cis men. Yet trans women face over-regulated policies because of ignorance not backed by science whatsoever. I feel like that's kind of hard to do because intersectional feminism is about the equality and protection of all women. So when a specific demographic is being targeted like how trans fems are being targeted by TERFs (who are just women are not really feminists, they just weaponize feminism so they can attack/ harm the livelihood) and trans exclusionates, I feel like we (feminists) need to address it and discuss why these conversations held by TERFs is dangerous to all women. The conversation wasn't about feminism for the most part but rather trans issues and that's largely because of Emmett. I'd like to see some sort of trans issues video on here and get Emmett back on, cause clearly they didn't know or care anything about feminism and just wanted to hash out their personal trans issues with that group of random strangers. Can you also redo this and see if another trans person does the same to the feminism discussion? I'd be so interested in seeing if they do.

Emmett is the type of person that makes other people dislike trans ideas and lbgtq as whole. Advocating for free speech, equality and being able to be who you want, but then proceeding to tell others how they must feel and what they must think, otherwise ostracizing those who don't agree with her. She also proceeds to act like she knows more about what it means to be feminist than the biological women there, who have had a life long experience of being a woman, while she does not. That Emma said she used to feel like she couldn't speak up in male spaces and is now experiencing the same, but with those from the community she supports is irony at it's best.

Trans women's rights are not female/women's rights but male rights. Feminism does not include trans women as the two are contradictory. JK Rowling is a female rights icon, at this point, because she speaks for many women. HRT can’t change your bone density, skeletal structure, muscle fibretype, and organ size and shape after puberty. Trans women also don’t have to worry about periods. Trans women have an advantage over cis women when it comes to sports, this can result on cis women getting injured in more physical sports. It’s not hateful or bigoted to know this.
