I don’t call it a first date but a first meeting if we met online. Most ppl nowadays put a bit too much emphasis on chemistry. They gotta feel it immediately. But I’ve experienced it on the second date and it paid off with a 17-year relationship. Fifteen years of marriage until it ended with depression and divorce. Be good friends first! ❤

That would be cool Susan if you made an app with first date questions for both to use. I have dug out questions for first dates but still have to weed through them to find good ones.. I found I do use them at some point of the date after we get established then it’s a nice little side to introduce questions for us both to answer..

Hi Susan, longtime fan here - love all your videos. Your tip#2 was to ask questions. Most of my in-person “first dates” have been after a handful of texts and a phone call or video chat. Is the in-person first date a good time or normal time to ask a woman what type of relationship she is seeking? I’ve tried to introduce the subject in the “first date” by volunteering that I hope to get know someone really well and then, if the chemistry and compatibility are present, ultimately pursue a possible romantic long-term relationship. Some women seem turned off by the directness of the question, but I feel it’s appropriate.
