I have never been able to cover a cake with fondant in one piece successfully. It'll definitely tear so I resorted to panelling 🤦🏾♀️. Thanks for the air conditioning part. I'm moving my next fondant cake from the kitchen to the living room 😃

Okay, have you checked off all the boxes listed in the video? If yes and there are no issues, then it may mean more practice and sharpening your fondant skills as well as being intentional about having a neat job, cutting clean lines, closing seams neatly, applying accents neatly. These are some things you need to look at.

Cold weather isn't supposed to make fondant sweat except the recipe is faulty. What it does is to keep the fondant cool and dry (depending on your location.)

Hello Patrina, you can try making your buttercream a little stiffer in consistency and use a thin layer spread. Also, make your fondant thick/thicker so it holds it in from coming out.

You might want to increase the CMC just a little bit, one of the functions of CMC is that it helps with elasticity. I also have a fondant recipe class this month for N3,500, you can join us and get a very good and quality fondant recipe.
