This is a great section for my bookshelf. Recently picked up Books of Wonder for a great price from Don's. What an amazing resource he is. Learned about him from your videos. Sending you a big thanks.

When I look at my card magic book collection I always have a conflicted feeling. On one had I'm so excited about the wealth of magic knowledge I have at my disposal. On the other hand I realize I would need several lifespans to actually master or even gain a competent level to even perform 90% of the sleights and effects contained in these treasures. For me a Dover book like Royal Road that cost me less than $20 is one of the greatest books ever written. It's not Shakespeare or a Tale of Two cities but I would argue that it has the potential to change more lives and have more impact on those lives than any acknowledged classic taught in University literature classes.

I really really need a copy of that Malini book. The Caveney books would be nice as well.

I feel like some Marlo would be appropriate for this section. Cardially Yours might be a good one, as it is a collection of some of his well known material. I admit to owning a few Marlo books, but have failed to get too deep into any of them...I will some day, though.

I'm not a Marlo guy 🤷 🤫
