Leaving fragrance in your car isn't a good tip. Fragrance's are really delicate and even if it's not an expensive bottle exposing them to extreme heat or light damages the fragrance for many reasons, but the result is the fragrance going sour, evaporating and hurting the scent profile/longevity. Optimal fragrance care is stored around 70°F and out of direct contact with sunlight. If you don't care then that's on you and do with your money what you will

I thought 3 and 5 were the only bad ones. I've heard of applying lotion (unscented) on the area that you're going to spray and it lasting longer, but spraying the fragrance onto the lotion before appyling is something I've never heard of. And of course keeping full sized fragrances in a humid area like your car is a bad idea. But I do think he said sample, if I'm not mistaken

Yeahhh. Some of It was good advice can't knock him but rubbing it in with lotion will rub off the top notes. Also leaving it in the car will make the fragrance go back quickly. Mainly in the summer. Try drinking a bottle of soda left in your car for a few hours in the summer heat.. now imagine what that heat does to your fragrance. It'll go sour. Or smell stale

Some tips I use: 1. Stay hydrated 2. EDT use 5 sprays since EDPs or Parfums are stronger go with 2 or 3 sprays 3. Spray pulse points 4. Spray on skin and not clothes some frag oils will stain clothing. 5. Use non scented lotions, soaps, deodorant and detergents so they don't mask your colognes 6. If you're wearing a suit and have a handkerchief spray a little cologne on there 7. Spray right after shower 8. Don't leave frags in car get a small atomizer and carry with you 9. Never rub fragrance in your skin it'll break up the notes 10. Don't spray in air and walk through

I won’t tear you down, but I will correct you, instead of a cologne in the car, there are small sample bottles you can buy to take cologne out of the main bottle. You can keep that in your pocket or suit jacket daily and your main bottle can stay safely at home. I get my mini bottles from fragrance net. Also the lotion mixed with cologne, I can’t knock that till I try it but I would recommend trying it with a fragrance free lotion. Bevel is a lighter scent but it’s not fragrance free. (One of my favorites)

Don’t forget to leave a fragrance in the bathroom so you can apply it on wet skin right after a shower! Also make sure you rub your wrists together to create friction. The heat really gets the frags to project. Did I mention to spray your eye balls? This trick is great because you can see how long the fragrance will last on you. Literally. I use the same cologne that was in there, blue de Chanel, works like a charm for just about anything, it’s masculine enough and sexy enough that I wear it everywhere I go, it’s not too strong or too light and it lasts really long, 10/10 cologne and would 100% use it again, another good one is Dior Fahrenheit, best cologne I have ever smelled perfect for every occasion and lasts for a very long time, exactly what you need in a bottle of cologne.

The best thing you could do is spray the fragrance on your hand and see how long it lasts as all human skin reaction is not the same . In my experience sometimes EDT lasts longer than EDP so our skins react differently. I have saved lots of money don’t just follow the reviewers it’s their experience have your own experience and pick the best fragrance for you. 🎉

I get the cologne n lotion mix, but some fragrances are not meant to be rubbed in. Some fragrances have different layers, rubbing it disrupts the experience (initial, mid, dry down)

#3 destroys the note breakdown of the fragrance. Never rub after spraying. #5 Can cause the fragrance to go bad. 100% it will evaporate faster. Rule of thumb is still always keep in a cool place away from the suns UV rays.
