Thanks for the help Katrina. I'm a 60 year old guy who started working on handstands a year ago. I've always practiced with my back to the wall and went straight for a pike handstand. I'm going to work on a tuck handstand and try to get away from the wall. Anyway, great video. Namaste.

The tuck handstand is the first handstand I learned and the most important actions of the position requires you to push your knees towards your chest while your feet reach towards your glutes!

Very good tips and commentary on the handstand. I've watched most of your videos and especially like the ones that has one of your "hacks" into the nervous system or the body to be stronger/flexible/etc.. I use the term hack in the positive form that aids in accomplishment. May I suggest a video that has these bio or physical hacks to improve the activity whether it's strength, flexibility, mobility, proprioception etc.. Sometimes, if a person is close to being able to do their chosen movement or activity, that one extra thing may just be the clincher. For example I'm learning the press handstand and your air hunger drill may help to making it easier. Do you have any more that may work for press handstand and other such intermediate and advanced skills. Thank you for all you do!
