Good guide, I've been playing byleth since release but this is the first time I've heard you can cancel neutral b with a jump as you're landing so... Nice! Keep up the good work

Since it wasn´t mentioned in the video: You can cancel neutral B without shielding by tapping and immediatly releasing the shield button. Byleth needs 4 frames to put the bow away so if you release the shield button before than it won´t come out. Once you are used to this the landing jump cancel doesn´t really have any advantage as far as I know. Just keep in mind that the bow can´t be canceled for the first 21 frames.

Good job on the guide, really well put together. I'm happy you mentioned the movement too. Byleth is the only character that I've played who actually benefits from wavelanding on platforms. It helps with Fair/Bair spacing so so much. Will take a look at your gameplay too. Been trying to hunt more Byleth's to watch outside of MKLeo and Pelupelu for months now. x)

I feel like I'd add using Up Air more often at the ledge if your opponent jumps, because you can either combo it into Up-B, or drag down into a throw. Or even just raw Up-Bs. Makes your opponent scared of jumping. I love this guide tho

Do a video going in-depth on the tech of using Byleth's Up Special to camp the ledge and land spikes. I think getting the ledge tether grab to cancel could trip a lot of people up. Holding [Down] immediately after the input is tricky.

One more! Byleth dair auto cancels after a double jump without fast fall, which can lead to a shield break or mix up scenario. It’s not a hard tech to pull off but hard to get used to

Byleth may have the best down air on the game. It's sour spot is even powerful. It will kill many characters at 120% and I believe all of them at 150-160%.

While Landing press jump as you touch the ground to cancel and act immediately. You can’t do it on the ground unfortunately

- you used the 3rd throw of up special as a visual example for the 2nd throw, keep that in mind - byleth absolutely has more kills than nq da, dtilt up air, techchases, and raw kos - I also disagree with using FN as much as possible, especially for newer players - you left out airdodge out of the bow - cool note: utilt actually doesn't have more endlag than other tools, surprisingly enough - nair dash attack techchasing in the nair section, if they miss a tech near ledge you can grab them and dthrow bair, you can dash nair out of a jablock to get the landing hit, and more besides - you forgot to account for jumpsquat in the OOS section? sorry for being almost a full month late, I only just saw this. as usual, I'm always down to help people make byleth content!

You probaby teched a bounce *after* the first bounce. the spike itself is untechable the moment it sends into tumble. also possible that you were mistaking pretumble throw as a tech.

@@janmarcoperezbatres2203 you never could. The buffs only changed the base knockback. Buts its always been the case that as soon as postspike throw tumbles it is untechable. Sometimes you get a no tumble throw (very uncommon post patch) and people mistake that as a tech, but its not.
