@@AndreaP76 the AI is challenging to get around, you can usually get around the back half of the field pretty easy, but you're really going to need to learn the tracks and lines to reach the top 3. It's definitely not easy mode, and there is no rubber banding of any sorts.

Super Woden GP II has as much customisation as any other game. Paint jobs and generic performance upgrades, that’s it.

Rush Rally 3 should be on the list. It's like Colin Mcrae Rally 2005 but with updated physics and customizable liveries. It has career mode and wheel supports too!

Just wanted onto the Horizon Chase 2 section. The game is developed by Aquiris, a Brazilian game studio, the main inspiration for the game is Top Gear, a series of racing videogames that started on the SNES and was made by the same developers behind the Lotus games. Top Gear was huge in South America, I played it all the time when I was a little kid on my SNES, Aquiris are so fond of those games that they actually got the same composer from the original game, Barry Leitch, to make the music for Horizon Chase 1 & 2. I played a lot of the first Horizon Chase back when it first released on Android, it's a great game, I have yet to try 2, but I'll definitely get it soon, sorry for the random tangent, I just wanted to yap a little bit about a childhood treasure of mine. Great video, I try to keep up with all the new racing games coming out but there was a few here I didn't know about, they're going straight to my wishlist.

I'm new here and this video made me subscribe to your channel. What I love about your video is how you go through explaining and giving vital info on each game. Aside from Horizon Chase Turbo and Circuit Superstars, the others I always skipped because other videos didn't really give enough info on them for me to know if I'd like them or not but your video does. Nice video 👏👏👏. I love this type of games to as a “stress relief “ after GT7 and F1 23 sessions 😂. I would say Horizon Chase 1 with Ayrton Senna’s DLC and the Rock N Roll racing remastered version, available on the consoles. Overall, Horizon Chase 1 and 2 are the ones that reminds me my childhood… on the 90s all Brazilian kids with a SNES, played Top Gear, it was a “fever” and we spent hours playing with friends.

It just released into Early Access so it's not qualified for this list, but I highly recommend Aero GPX to anyone who misses the old F-Zero games. The handling is so responsive and feels great to play even though it's an Early Access title.

Also the WipEout series in general is very close in style and gameplay to F-Zero with high speed racing with anti-grav ships. The tracks can be super challenging too, and super satisfying to get right. I haven't personally played it, but BallisticNG aims to replicate the gameplay of WipEout, so that may be worth looking at for fans of F-Zero as well.

@@1mariomaniac I agree that WipEout and BallisticNG are great anti-grav racers. I would probably say BallisticNG is to WipEout what Aero GPX is to F-Zero. What makes Aero GPX more like F-Zero is the character design, the 30 racer grids, the track locations. It's all very clearly inspired by classic F-Zero, which has a little more cartoony of a feel than WipEout.

I lost most of the Spring to Rush Rally Origins - I love the diorama artstyle of the maps too but the handling is a joy. Still have to play Rock n Roll Racing far too frequently after all these years too!

There's an upcoming new take on Sega's classic Motorsport Manager called GT Manager. Looks like a cool little indie racing game to keep an eye one. I'm also eagerly awaiting the 1.0 release of Old School Rally and love the love letter to the World Rally Championship that is The Art of Rally.

Love Rush Rally Origins! Also, and this is not a car racing game, if you like high speed racing while flying like iron man, "Xeno Runners" is pretty addicting. Only for the hardcore "try harder" as it's tough af. Seems shallow at first but has a lot of depth to it.

There's an incredible F-zero like game called "GRIP: combat racing" I found a while back which was on sale, so I tried it out. The central mechanic revolves around how you can drive the car upside down, and I don't mean that in the way of driving on ceilings, even though you can, the cars are all designed with these huge tires, so they can still drive wen when flipped over. It's seriously fun, and I highly recommend you play it if you can.

add Formula TOP to the list, great top down f1 game, 1.0 is coming later this year hopefully. I much prefer it to the alternatives. I can't stand the slidey Formula cars in CS. That's kinda what I wanted new star GP to be. I also prefer Rush Rally 3 over Origins (can use heli-cam in both)

Super Woden GP 2 looks phenomenal as a fan of classic GT titles, I just can't play it though, I've tried but I cannot get used to isometric racing games. Corners sneak up on me that'd otherwise be easy, and cornering in general isn't as simple due to the odd perspective. Wish they had a chase cam option. Edit: As does Superspec Rallycross, love rallycross racing.

I would honestly love Super Woden GP II but that isometric overhead view is an insane turnoff. Even with generic cars and tracks, if someone made a GT clone with license tests, maintenance features, and an in depth multi discipline career mode, I'd be all over it. At least, so long as it wasn't isometric top down.

Super woden gp 2 is one of those games I`d be all over, if it weren`t for the top down/ isometric view.. I still added it to my wishlist, and will pick it up whenever it`s on sale for cheap enough. Also, I didn`t know until this video that Aquos had been purchased by epic and absorbed into Fortnite, and as someone who really likes the first horizon chase, and who thinks it`s one of only a few non puzzle /match 3 games that actually plays well on a touchscreen, I`m low key pissed at the news

Many difficulties. Unlockable turbo game mode and tiny cars too. I just bought it on a whim a few days ago and already have 10 hours in it, haha

I wish Horizon Chase 2 had proper physics and wasnt so random. Something like the Outrun physics would've fitted the game amazingly. New Star GP has cool ideas but it lacks heavily in many spots making the game rather boring really quickly, also the fact that all cars sound the same is just - nahh, there's no excuse for that.
