Question 1: How is that working out for you?
It is really important to say this in a curious tone. This facilitates lots more insights into the reasons behind doing and not doing things.
Question 2: How do you need to be?
Your behaviour all stems from our mindset and thought patterns. Use this question to help your clients transform how they think and therefore their behaviour and results. This question is just the starting point, it's all about probing deeper.
Question 3: What's Stopping you?
Asking someone this gets them to start thinking about potential barriers and obstacles. When we know what is standing in our clients way it is a lot easier to find a way around the problems and limiting beliefs.
Question 4: How committed are you?
I use a scale of 1-10. If someone isn't a 9 or more then I know that it is time to dig a little bit deeper. This is a really important question as when you 'check in' you are able to see if they have actually followed through.
Question 5: What is going on for you right now?
This gets your clients into the present moment, this can also be linked to emotions and feelings. This is neuroscience based coaching as we aren't just looking at what's going on but also the emotions and energy.
