I think what's extremely important for people, no matter what it is that they're trying to do, is that they invest their time and energy into the things they love and are most passionate about. When people are doing things they really love and can't get enough of, they feel most fullfilled, and they give off a kind of light and energy that gets people's attention and draws them in. You will get many more doors and windows opened to you than if you are going against the proverbial grain trying to do something that doesn't really work for you. Doing what you love helps you find your tribe and your audience. You can connect with these like-minded people and make something beautiful together. The very sad reality of the world we live in is that no matter how compassionate, kind, and loving you might be, there is always a bumper crop of humans that somehow remain hopleless. Lack of stability is probably the number one thing I worry about. Believe it or not, I’ve never spent any of my writing money, my reason being lack of consistent royalties. One month, I had a book that sold a dozen physical copies. To some writers, that’s nothing, but I’m accustomed to only selling a handful of copies a year. The next month, however, I sold nothing. I don’t know when or if I’m going to receive more income, so I never spend it. Personally, I would rather receive small payments on a regular basis than one large sum of money. I would just feel more stable.

Try checking out The game of life and how to play it by Florence Scovel Shinn. Could change your opinion on the intention you are setting by holding on to that money. I think you should spend it with the specific intention and see what that attracts. Abundance mindset attracts abundance always. In my experience 💜

the key of developing strong relationships and connections in any business is to add value: add value to your network and it’s easier to create genuine relationships (or knowing who the BS is and create space from). And create a side hustle! This way desperation doesn’t come across

Luckily I'm from Toronto and there's already a film industry here. The idea that success is siphoned off to a single area and you have to re-root your life because people are too lazy to use Skype... The more I watch this channel the more I become aware of how awful the Hollywood film industry is.

It may sound cynical, but the idea of who you know, not what you know makes perfect sense. if you're looking for a script writer, or a builder, and you happen to know someone who does these things, you would probably give him first crack. Why go through the hassle of finding other people, getting references and all that when you have a qualified person in your immediate circle? Of course, that means I would have to move to LA, or Toronto, God forbid.
