Fully support chiropractic care!! There might be slight risks involved but more beneficial than anything. I had severe restriction in my neck mobility and just after 2 adjustments I am able to look at my own butt again without twisting my back. I still have minor pain but the healing process can begin now. Shout out to my Chiro Dr. Rodelo Sicta at West Ed chiropractics!!!!

I love my chiro! 😅❤ I do yoga mainly, but when I run, I experience some pain because I have a more dominant leg/hip. Going to the chiro help me so much. Also my neck, head, and upper back posture has signifcantly improved. I wasn't able to move those joint for the upper back area. Overall my flexibility has improved even more. Also, I feel less pain from stress (work, life, etc..) overall.

I was wondering, I haven't been to a chiropractor in a few yrs. I was told that if I get my body adjusted that will lower my blood pressure. I want to get off blood pressure. I have been watching Dr Bergman on KZbin and he is against all kinds of prescription drugs.
@Theevidencebasedchiropractor5 жыл бұрын
Good question- there is definitely no guarantee that getting adjusted will improve your blood pressure. While the care may help, I'd first recommend looking at lifestyle changes you could make that have been shown to improve BP. And always keep the prescribing doctor involved!

Hi Doctor ! I always get a cramp in my groin area when my Doc adjusts my lower back (pretzel position). It immediately goes away after the adjustment but was wondering why this happens and what can I do to not get a cramp again…. Thanks !

@dankartes4 жыл бұрын
@@samirkt4832 Yes. When I was young, in my ignorance, I slightly strained my back and a well meaning relative advised me to visit her Chiropractic "Doctor". This was the beginning of my back problems as I suffered soft tissue damage to my vertebrae at the hands of one of these quacks. My education of what Chiropractors are and the history of how they came to be began with dozens of trips to the hospital and exams by an orthopedic surgeon and sessions with a physical therapist. Let me be clear: all Chiropractors are quacks! They are not doctors! There is nothing a chiropractor can do for a person that a person can not do for themselves and I can personally attest to the harm these clowns can do to people.

@@dankartes ok that's all well and good for you, but I have an almost perfect mirror to your story. Injured young in sports, parents were directed to take me to chiropractors, and over time I had areas of my back, left hip, and left knee I could barley use come back to me and now its like it never happened. I also have legions of sources on why chiropractors are legitimate doctors with legitimate medicine. Your anecdotal experience is not indicative of objective truth.

@@peterlane7128 "ok that's all well and good for you," - No it wasn't all good for me, quite the opposite. "but I have an almost perfect mirror to your story" - I'm sure you do. "Injured young in sports, parents were directed to take me to chiropractors, and over time I had areas of my back, left hip, and left knee I could barley use come back to me and now its like it never happened" - Wow that sounds like it healed on it's own, like injury's tend to do. I was injured AT the chiropractor! By the Chiropractor! If I had just waited my neck strain would have just went away! "I also have legions of sources on why chiropractors are legitimate doctors with legitimate medicine." - I'm sure you do. And you've listed '0'. You find Doctors in places called hospitals. You won't find any chiropractors there. These people are not medical doctors! They are as much a Doctor as a acupuncturist! Or someone dispensing water at a Homeopathy 'clinic'. "Your anecdotal experience is not indicative of objective truth." - My experience is anecdotal. The pain I experienced at the hands of these quacks is anecdotal. As is the time and expense I spent recovering. There is as much 'legitimate medicine' in a chiropractors office as there is in the church of a fait healer or crystal therapist.
