Awesome videos as always. The passanger wing mirror also panned down in the jdm cl9 type s accord. if you pull the handbrake up while in reverse it will come back up and stay up and pan down and stay down if you pull it again. great feature.

You forgot to tell that the short keys are programmable to whatever you like not just radiostations. I got mine to close the screen on button 8 for example. And start navigating home on button 7. Very easy

You can actually code in digital speedometer with inpa ( i think it was inpa, did it years ago). Coding is basically just turning a hidden feature on.. when its done you have an extra view in your lower part of digital center screen... "V1= 90kmh" or something like that. its in the same menu that has your fuel economy reading etc that you can switch through by pressing the end of the stalk. You can code in some other cool options aswell.. cd player can play dvd-s in e89 but when you start moving video turns off to not distract you from driving. I changed speed number to 200kmh so now dvd video stays on screen while driving up to 200kmh. I know dvd-s are old tech but i ripped some music videos from youtube and made my own dvd. I managed to fit 31 music videos on one dvd and i can change between them by choosing another chapter from the dvd menu. So now i can drive around roof down and music videos playing on my idrive screen... theres a zoom option in video options menu aswell that fills the entire idrive widescreen with video and you dont have those black blank bars on the sides Also i coded in roof operation while moving. Newer e89s may already have that feature but mine is early 2009 model and dont have it on from factory. At first if i did move my car even a bit over crawl speed the roof would stop its operation until i stopped again. Not great. So i turned on an option that allowed roof operation while moving.. dont remember the speed limit, 30kmh maybe. I dont usually use it, its more for emergencies like when im at the stoplight and decided to lower the roof but then it suddenly turned green. Now i can slowly move away and not sit there waiting for the roof to finish its operation. Less angry drivers behind me. There are many more options you can code in... for example auto folding sidemirrors when locking and unlocking car and so on.

Yeah it's cool the stuff you can code in

Putting music videos from youtube onto a DVD, then playing it on your car with the roof down. Goodness 😂
@donsirsimon2 жыл бұрын
@@yaboiyosef7640 Well it is a free solution. And CIC idrive system is from 2009 and 13 years old. Its from the time when iphone 3g was a new thing and first android phones were just coming to the market. Tech has moved on quite a bit. Of course you could buy some android or carplay add on modules that cost hundreds which can utilize the same idrive screen and buttons and maybe with those you can stream video directly from youtube. Would be better for sure. Even playing files from usb would be better but stock cic cant do that either. I was coding some things in anyway so gave it a try just for the fun of it and also i still had some empty dvds left over in a drawer that i could use and had old thinkpad collecting dust that still had a cd drive capable of burning dvd-s . So why not try it. Better than just throwing those blank dvd-s away. Almost all cars now have screens in them but how many cars can play videos on their builtin screen? Most of them cant. Its just a quirky thing i can use sometimes. Most of the time i play music from built in harddrive where i put a bunch of albums or just play audio from my phone.

How are you my friend? Give me some light? What is the procedure to unlock the DVD while the vehicle is moving? What would the code be... Thank you.

Those numbered buttons 1-8 are not just for the radio(stations).. You can program almost everything to them.. Anything related to the navi, phone, i-drive settings, open&close the i-drive screen, anything really.. Did you know that? I really do not like BMW removed those buttons in their latest cars where everything has to be done from a huge table-like touchscreen..
