I'd seen the side mirrors tilt in reverse gear before but it stopped doing that and I couldn't figure out why... Now I know. I've never seen the Adaptive Cruise feature before ... gotta test that out. I didn't know pushing that stalk in actually does something. Thanks TC, for another informative video.

i never knew my side mirrors can tilt till i accidentally left it on Left. I think the adaptive cruise control is only on certain models and not all. Worth giving it a try.

@@TCsAnythingGoes Tested the cruise control stalk ... my GGH20 does not have Adaptive Radar, :( but the mirror trick works :)

Hi my friend... can the middle row of seats be pushed forward any furthur? if the two front seats are also pushed forward to their maximum position?? Also.. if front seats are pushed forward to their maximum stop position, and the middle seats are pushed forward to their maximum stop position, what is the distance from the back of the front seats,to the front of the middle row seats... I am wondering if I can get a portaloo/ Thetford chemical mini toilet in that space between the seats? And when front seats and middle seats are pushed all the way forward to their maximum position can a 6-ft man lie down behind the middle seats,in a straight line??... I love these Toyota alphard,but I need this bit of information plse, as I will be using the Alphard when I buy one, for weekends away,and sleeping in the vehicle with my wife...👍🏽💙 thank you in anticipation😊😊🙏🏽

Hi again. You helped me out a few times already with your videos or through comments. I need your advice again regarding my 2009 Vellfire. Thing is that water leaks into my car from the roof. Above the right sliding door where the aircon and light is located. It gets dripping wet around the light and all the way to the front where the ambient light bar starts. I removed the light bar and there was water under it. I cant seem to figure out where it comes from. The moon roof front right drain hole looks fine. I used a wire and air pressure for it. Someone told me that tube for the rear wiper run along this place. How do I remove the interior roof top plastics to check if the tube has a problem and leaks water? Thanks

If you are able to get water out the rear wiper nozzle then its unlikely to be an issue with that tube. Most of the time this area leak is because of drain hole stuck or the drain tube is broken or the rubber seal at the moon roof has degraded. Try this, open the roof, pour water down and see if it leaks into the interior of the car. if it does, then at least we isolated out the wiper tube as the reasons.

If you buy a vci adaptor and a copy of techstream for laptop, you can adjust a lot of the ecu settings, like auto light sensitivity, auto lock/unlock, power boot door buzzer, sliding door buzzer, courtesy light delay etc

Thanks TC I wonder can how I move the pilot seats all the way to the front? It seems like mine get stuck and cannot push all the way to the front There is always a pretty big gap between the pilot seats and first row seats after I push the pilot seats to the front Is it normal? Or there is other trick to push the pilot seats all the way to the front?

Check the rails and see if there is anything stuck inside. Mine can go all the way to the center console. I can push mine all the way to the back of the front seats.

Thanks TC. Sad my model dont have adaptive cc like you 🥲. Another hidden features. 2008-2011 model also can turn on n off eco mode. Mine always off mode cause fill more responsive then before.

my ECO mode is auto on and off depending on how far down i press the accelerator. I saw some models has the ECO button at the side.

@@TCsAnythingGoes 2012 aka NFL models has eco button. Like us PFL dont have. How to off eco mode. 1. Press n Hold odo trip button (make sure not on trip A or B position) until eco mode appear on display meter. 2. Release button & press repeatly to on &off. Note: some model like S spec or Z spec cant do this. I try on G n V spec its work.

there is three options that you can select from the top controller. Off, On and Door. Choose the door one. Let me know if it solves your problem.

I think only the 10 series can rotate the mid row seats. 20 and 30 series can't.

you might need to connect it to a computer and use software to turn it off if there is no button to do so. I am not too sure since my car does not have this function.

Hi TC, do you know where to get or the part number of the lever that can be fitted to the second row horizontal latch? I have seen photos of the premium seat package which the pilot seats have these levers instead of just the covers.
