I love everything in this video but the frames are truly stunning. What you did with the print, dabbing paint around the edges like that, was genius! It took that whole piece to another level. Very moody and kind of haunt-y! Perfect vignette!

To get out water rings on wood all ya do is get a terry cloth I use white rags and a DRY iron and put the towel Over the water spot and the iron over the wood and iron it over and over until the water goes away. If there is no oil in the spot it will evaporate and go away 😉❤. Love the channel!

Love that bird cage! Love anything to do with birds. I have bought lots of 3 or 4 inch high candlesticks that are reasonably priced at thrift stores. At new house I have a very high and long soffit above my kitchen cupboards, but most of my birdhouses (from old house) are not very tall, so will glue the birdhouses to them to make them look not so tiny up there. Watching videos like yours gave me that idea! Thanks for helping those of us who don't have a booth still have fun decorating our homes! 😊

That framed bird picture with the shading and frame enhancement turned out gorgeous. The entire vignette is stunning and all ties together beautifully. The candlestands and bird cage on stand also look great. I love the idea of the empty frame stacked with the framed one also. Great job :)

I always pick up so many helpful tips from you. I had to laugh when you pulled out the purple glue stick! That's exactly what I use. Yeah, I paid 6 bucks for the stinkiest picture frame ever. When I pulled the wood back and tape off the back. OMG! It was a poured plaster frame that had a wicker look to it. Plaster of Paris or molded pieces will absorb moisture and smells. It was dry but smelled like a moldy barn kept in a basement for years. When I did the vid on it I had flash backs of the smell. Yes, I got it out with 2 coats of Boss on each side. I really wanted to use it with a bee canvas. It turned out beautiful. That was the worse, lol

I'm Loving the wash over the table top with the tips about sanding and finishing. Thats the DIY tutorial, bits and bobs, that i live for. Something to take into my own diy. Adding go-to techniques for many projects to come. Also, love that you explained your struggle with, "To paint, or not to paint?" When an item maybe "valuable" or antique. What is valuable, but the sentiment or price tag we attach to it? Its just a worth we've made a choice to agree upon, right? Still doesn't make it a set-in-stone fact. Especially if you just need a nice end table. There is serious value in that! Thank you for your blatant bravery! Besides, if it doesnt serve your purposes in life, then you're just a keeper of it till someone else puts it in a landfill because "its broken, dated, old and yucky" in their eyes. Can't win that debate. Bravo on everything, LOVE YOUR STYLE.

Absolutely LOVE the framed birds & cage. I do those as well. I collect anything vintage/antique looking cages, frames, candlestands & more. I also love tea cups, saucers & tea pots for flower arrangements, garden decor & bird accessories. My other favorite is rustic metal almost anything I can create with.
