This is my favorite !!! I love to hear your Italian accent! I'll make this for sure. Can't wait! Thanks so much.

She doesn't have an Italian accent at all. She sounds like your usual American or Canadian speaker of English. I think she's Canadian because of the prices I notice from Costco. Things would be cheaper in the U.S. Perhaps you meant that when she says the words "tiramisu" and "mascarpone", she pronounces them the Italian way. She is beautiful and charming--a pleasure to watch. 2024-09-03, Burlington ON Canada.

I just found your channel tonight and I'm binge watching! Your lifestyle is everything that I love: gardening, cooking, homemaking and your Mother is adorable. There is something or everything about Italian culture that I am very drawn to. I'm so excited to try some of your recipes starting with roasting a bunch of cherry and Roma tomatoes tomorrow and making one of your flatbread recipes. I'm a 72 year old grandmother and I also want to mention that you are so beautiful with a personality to match.

I just made this using regular cream cheese. It's delicious! The only thing I would do differently is to whip the cream cheese separately until it's nice and creamy, then combine it to the heavy whipped cream. It makes it creamier without lumps of cream cheese in the final product. It's absolutely a keeper!

In the summer, I LOVE making a tiramisu by dipping my biscuits in Lazzaroni lemoncello, adding lemon zest to my marscapone and a squeeze of that fresh lemon into the liquor. Refreshing and sparkling. Top with a few fresh mint leaves for added color.

Thank you so much, Lisa! This is a great recipe.I guess it’s odd, but my Mom and her 4 Calabrese Italian sisters never made Tiramisu that I can remember.They drank tons of coffee, but mostly I remember them dunking Biscotti in their coffee. I have a recipe for Italian chocolate cookies that are made with cold coffee. They’re very tasty because they add orange juice and walnuts to the cookies as well as the coffee.I will be glad to share the recipe if you’re interested. Please say hello to your beautiful Mom for me.🇮🇹❤️

Thank so very much Lisa for the Wonderful easy short recipe. I so enjoyed watching how you made yours. I can even make it Keto Friendly. I can use sugar substitutes of pure powdered Monk Fruit & Powdered Allulose. Yay! The only thing with sugar in it would be the Ladyfingers. I'm so excited to try it. All I need now is to get Heavy Whipped Cream. I already have the Marscapone & Ladyfingers. You made my Sat. 😊 Thanx again Sooo much. Cali Lady.

Hello Lisa, This is the second time i have made this recipe - mostly it’s so hot and no oven is wanted. Plus I had enough lady fingers for another batch. I have been making them in loaf pans - 2 per recipe - but I deviate by putting them in the freezer. I pull them out a bit before serving but they are more like a semi-frozen dessert. Perhaps this is not how tiramisu should be served but I personally prefer the firmer texture. Whatever the case, I am enjoying this recipe on repeat summer - thank you for it! Stella

This looks wonderful and I love tiramisu. Just a bit confused about the amount of cream cheese. In the store you picked up two packages but it appears you only put one in the whipped cream...is one package the correct amount for the recipe? Looking forward to trying this soon as I avoid as much as possible turning on the oven during our hot Southern summers!
@asimpleseason26164 ай бұрын
Yes, correct...I bought the 2 packages for $8 but only used one :)

Hi Lisa, I made this dessert one time and the Lady Fingers were soggy. Is it supposed to be that way? Just curious.❤️
@asimpleseason26164 ай бұрын
The lady fingers will soften to be sure but they should just be soft and not soggy...perhaps the cookies stayed in the coffee too long ... only a quick one second dip is all that's needed...hope that helps :)

Please do not tell people that they can substitute Philly or any other brand of cream cheese for mascarpone! They are two distinctly different flavors. It’s like telling people they can substitute liver for hamburger meat. Either use all of the ingredients that’s called for in an Italian recipe or call it something different and not a Tiramisu.
@leeverkisto223 ай бұрын
They taste almost the exact same, many Italians use Philly cream cheese as a substitute, it’s way more affordable too
@Miniver7653 ай бұрын
People living in small towns and more rural areas don't have a large variety of grocery stores available. Especially grocery stores that carry a wide variety of non-standard dairy products. Regular cream cheese will most definitely work as an acceptable substitute for mascarpone. The universe will not implode in on itself, I promise.
@mickeyhead97703 ай бұрын
@@leeverkisto22 you need to have your tastebuds checked if they taste the same to you, also years ago mascarpone wasn’t easily available, but that’s not the case today.
@leeverkisto223 ай бұрын
@@mickeyhead9770 you might just be a super taster ( someone with a mutation that causes them to have more than average amount of taste buds). It affects about 25% of people . The mascarpone might be a tiny bit lighter tasting but with the heavy flavour of the espresso and cocoa you can’t tell. Again cream cheese is way more affordable than mascarpone
