Going alongside with the gold nugget one, you can find a similar detail at the Fairvale Shanty place, as well as inside of the Beryl's Dream cave.

Don't know if anyone found this awesome detail yet: There is a stranger mission just northwest of Strawberry, which you meet Francis Sinclair and he asks you to find him all the carvings. Most people gets the default cutscene where he show you what those carvings look like, BUT if you do found some of them before meeting him, Arthur will actually show Francis his journal that he found some of them and Francis just notes them down and tells Arthur to find the rest. Not sure what happens if you found all before meeting him, maybe a 3rd variation cutscene?
