the midi control tip just changed my life. i was running out of ideas on how to keep things interesting and this does that and also saves a ton of cpu power vs adding a bunch of thermals or trash 2 boxs

out of all the movement FX plugins like Movement (by output), Stutter Edit, and dblue glitch, this has to be the most user-friendly and most powerful. That FM patch is nuts! the looper implementation is perfect.

This plugin brings a question to my mind, that I've been asking for many years. Why is there no preset automation shapes built into any DAW, why in 2022 are we still having to draw/record in these things? There should be a preset list of commonly used shapes, upwards ramp, downwards ramp, on/off etc. included in every DAW. It shouldn't have to be any more complex than either two clicks or dragging a chosen shape onto a pattern.

@@thelateraledge I think it's similar to your idea. Ableton has an insert shape function if you right click on an automation lane. Im guessing Bitwig has something.

thanks a lot :) I was only looking for a quick tutorial, but that was so much better :) I just thought about using the plugin again, haven't done so since I bought it which has been a while :'D and now I just was faaar too lazy to think for myself after as many hours of bitwigging as I just spent. That was also far more relaxing :'D Btw, my music finally sounds amazing, thanks to your guides etc!! The quality is absolutely there if compared to what I did 5 years ago in logic, no templates, everything self made, now i could actually mix it with other tracks without it sounding weird! Maybe I run across you at a festival at some point or so, you'll surely gonna get several beers for your help, guides and superb videos ;) once again I'm in love with making music and bitwig is also the perfect daw as logic replacement, thanks so much for sharing your insights and have a great time!! ❤

Thanks for this video man, that looper sequence is awesome!!! because of this plugin alone, i still produce a shitload of productions with Cubase instead of Ableton :) I compare this plugin with Stutter Edit, but way more easy lol...but there are some glitch effects that make stutter edit quite unique, i cant put my finger on it but it just sound a bit more prestine and futuristic or something...but because Infiltrator is just soooooo easy and inspiring and fun to work with, i use this plugin in every production, and not Stutter Edit 1 or 2 :)

Looks like your PIP got infiltrated a tad. I snagged this puppy when it came out. Sure you can do all this in the amazing Ableton Live Suite - but this is more fun and surely faster.

hard to compare actually but yes this is pretty Feature packed

well i have shaperbox and that seems basic compared to this. also it is very cpu intensive esp the time fx. you cant arrange in sequence or control the sequence rate. plus midi retrigger of different rates of each looper is not possible. you would have to render it out and import it into a sample or something......this one does it all in one plugin.

What exactly does it do, that you cant do with automation? When I add Effects to a track and then automate parameters, I get the same results, or not?

It’s the way it’s all bundled, and the looper and FM effect. What else does that so nicely?

work flow is much faster here than with automation. probably less CPU hit also depending on the plugins you'd use for automating yourself

Is it possible to route the curves inside Infiltrator to a Midi-Channel? I would like to use the curves to manipulate targets in a different plugin (for example a filter cutoff in a different VST Instrument).

@@DashGlitch ShaperBox is always on "sale" :) it's about 69,- - 79,- EUR for all Boxes. But regardless, it does pretty much the same, just in a Box right? Also the looper does what Polyverse's "iWish" does, right? Maybe you'd like to make a review on that too, its awesome for glitch effects.

I keep wanting-to-want this plugin, but every demo vid is like “here we can do this” [BT 2007ish music with occasional stutters & plugin-sounding-filters]....”or this” [BT 2007ish music with occasional stutters & plugin-sounding-filters]... I just don’t hear any FX that sound new or unique.. It definitely sounds like a plugin effect... not like we’re being tricked into thinking sound is actually being twisted in some new reality. What am I missing?

Would love some 24/7 records style tutes. you know the track plasmotek & chromatone - hexidecibel? best mix of light and dark. you're from S.A i see.. do you like twilight/fullon? i spose Concept invented it, still Rubix is genius/timecode. don't get me wrong tho, 3D records is some of the worst music out - zero creativity.
