Cube Entertainment denied HyunA and Dawn's relationship to the public, and it should have ended there, with the relationship denied, the public would have calmed down. However, HyunA went public contradicting Cube, which had already denied it, saying that YES, she and Dawn were in a relationship. She made Cube look like a joke to everyone in Korea, and koreans started making fun of the company. That’s why Cube kicked them out, not because they were dating, but because HyunA made the company look foolish. If HyunA had kept quiet, she and Dawn could have continued dating in secret, Dawn would still be in Pentagon, and Pentagon might have had a better future. Honestly, I would have preferred it that way because Hui has already been humiliated enough in his life… seriously, seeing him on Boys Planet competing with 15 year old boys, when Hui was already a 30 year old with years of career experience, was simply deplorable. I thought Yujin on Girls Planet was sad, but Hui broke my heart because at least she debuted.

Cube kicked them out because Hyuna and dawn came out about their relationship, and then Korea didn’t want anything to do with them unless pentagon showed their talents. Yall r not understanding how much potential Pentagon had...the grp already had Hui and JINHO as LITERALLY POWER vocals, they were not just any singers but were popular in the industry to be among the top vocalists along with the exo main vocalists, Hui, their leader was known to be the genius idol like 3racha is today...they had a japanese member, a chinese member, their rapper wooseok couldve bloomed as an amazing rapper as he was already really talented, they had both deep and soft vocals, Hongseok was already a well known actor at their time, and most importantly DAWN, stellar unique presence with unique voice and just the vibe of a star in the grp...it was a kinda grp that could've used each other to grow to incredible heights... Their story reminds me again of how uncertain life is and how things can go haywire at anytime.. its wrong to say that hyuna is solely to blame, or cube was to blame, or dawn was to blame, truth is everyone including their fans are to blame, the grp just went crashing down like it was their fate...

They do great with their boy groups when it comes to scandals cause they have been managing a boy group for years before getting other ones but they haven’t had experience managing girl groups since glam and glam turned out to be a disaster. Plus the fact that everything that happened with Garam didn’t help the situation. The public was against Garam but there were also people that wished for Le Sserafim downfall after that entire situation and I’m glad that they decided to work with Le Sserafim after that instead of tossing them under the bus like Glam because not only did Garam not deserve it but the rest of the members didn’t either.

Honestly if you are in a group, yes you can. Group needs teamwork. Its like sport. 1 person messed up and it still can effect the other person. Even in working field, a little messed up on group project can ruin an overall balance, and the way people perceive your team
