I was forced to downsize after my divorce. Started decluttering 5 yrs ago , I don’t miss any of it ! Enjoying the new found space and Freedom minimalism brings. Less is More . I feel like I got my Life back.

I to have been living simple for 5 years and like you it was a natural process for me I didnt know anything about minimalism. I DONT miss my " things" running my life. I dont even own a computer any more I have a phone with unlimited data, so for me that's all I need. I now see all the wasted money and wasted merchandise I just moved around to clean under. Hope your channel does well .

My journey started about a month ago. I should say I tried so many times but it truly worked when I went on a no buy year. Couldn't agree more with the lessons here. I began appreciating the smallest thing in life and just the other day, I was riding a bike along the river when the sun was going down and I was amazed by how beautiful and calm it was. I would have never even noticed the small wonders if it wasn't for a minimalist mindset!

Thank you for sharing your journey. I feel overwhelmed when I'm decluttering. Your statements are helpful to a person like myself who struggles with the sentimental value of "things". Your channel is inspiring. 👌

I've been a minimalist for almost 7 years now and it's not easy. On a daily basis I get made fun of by family who keep telling me I need to buy more clothes; they seem to think minimalist = poor. I started out because I move a lot and having everything you own fit in your car trunk is a lot easier than renting a U-haul everytime. I'm not perfect though and sometimes I fall off the bandwagon and want to accumulate more... but I always find my way back.

My journey started 2018. But 2022 was the new beginning. Walked away from a abusive marriage. Moved to a small 1 bedroom house. Took only what I could carry. Fresh start in all areas of my life.

Initially it is hard work to get to a simpler life, but the benefits certainly pay off in the long run. I realised i couldn,t carry on without making some better/wiser decisions in my life. Less is more is definitely the best realisation and to also stop conforming to the world and people. Take care Nick x

discovered your channle last night and i am hooked, subbed and liked whatever video I watched. Beside your view on minimalism, your speaking pace and the tone of your voice are wonderful. A rare trait on YT nowadays. You give me no headaches or anxiety while listening. :)

I started minimalism a few months ago as my life goal is to live overseas and travel. I’m just getting to the stage where I’ve almost been through my whole house once. I’ve gotten rid of a lot of stuff. One thing it has opened my eyes to is how many disposable items we use, so I’ve been learning about natural cleaning and reusable items. Also got into natural hair colouring and treatments and want to sell them one day too. It certainly does change how you think and I’ve only just started.

Wooow loved your editing! The part when you where running with the camera on top was amazing🤩😂, I stared this minimalism journey at the start of this year, and I could identify myself with some things you say, specially on giving the value to something depending in what others think, it stills happens, but now I’m sure I will improve! Thank you for the video🥰

Excellent again. Bravo Sir. It will be interesting to see how you adapt your journey when a 'life event' occurs. Marriage, Having Children. This will be a test for you. Hopefully you'll still be doing this in 5 /10 years time and we can all see how do. Keep this up.

Awesome video!! 👌🏻💯 There is a phrase that says: I need few things, and the few that I need, I need them little. Actually, I don't know if this phrase has a translation from Spanish, I just hope I have translated it well, to make it clear what it means.
