‘Less but better’ is such a great motto, the things that bring the most value to my life are the quality ones that I’ve planned and saved up for

Great reasons, thanks for sharing. For me, the priority has been avoiding being overwhelmed. The older I get, the less well I handle being surrounded by excess.

I discovered minimalism many years ago and I shared the idea with others. It has changed my view of the world in a huge way

Many great points here and well articulated. I myself also get easily distracted by physical clutter--I feel much more at peace when my environment is decluttered, and it's much easier when you have less. I realized this when I started going on long distance hikes, where bringing extra stuff literally weighs you down. I've found that the same applies at home as well--one of the many benefits of minimalism.

Yes....decision fatigue really wears me down! Simplicity can give our brain a rest! Clarity on what I want to do......I found this path now that I am older....we are only here once, so time is important at certain life stages.....😁

Time management is such a good point. The less you have on your plate to deal with makes room for being able to finish the important stuff. You become more reliable, not only for others but for yourself. Less is more is truly an understatement. Lots of good points.

As I’ve aged, I have found great peace in creating a home which reflects a personal sanctuary. It is never too soon to be intentional about your time including what you do and who you spend your time with. It’s ok to say no. Great video thank you. As a person from Wisconsin I can say a #12 Packers helmet would convert you into an Aaron Rodgers look alike!

I have ADHD and also chronic fatigue syndrome which is now solving itself by doing hard core mold avoidance (by pioneer Erik Johnson) so decision making had to be put on bare minimum. Minimalism is saving me.

Dear Samurai, It can be overwhelming at the beginning, so I started with meditation and divine assistance to help me to let go of unwanted, un-needed stuff, people, emotions. First day, I only cleared one drawer. I continued throwing or donating stuff, because used stuff does not sell easily where I live. Whenever, I felt stuck and not having the courage to let go of expensive stuff; I would meditate about that. Then, I would be able to let go of that particular expensive or so-called valuable item. It’s 5 years now. My home is so serene, calm, looks beautiful. I did not buy new stuff to redecorate. In fact, since making the decision to live with less stuff I found beautiful forgotten things in my home to re-decorate, re-purpose: and I learnt to connect with very meaningful people. I let go of rich, snobbish, materialistic so-called friends; and began to appreciate authentic and humble people. Since then, my savings have increased, my peace has increased, my time is freed up to do exactly what I truly wish to do. Best of all, I have courage to live from my inner self. I feel my soul is nurtured and have learnt the meaning of self-love. Self-love does not come, when you are overwhelmed with Stuff in your space. I will never regret the decision to live with Less Stuff. Living with Less Stuff is equal to living with MORE OF YOURSELF. Good luck on your journey.

Great video, I feel the same way as you. I’ve decluttered a lot recently but I have a bit of a dilemma… I love sewing and so I have a growing collection of sewing stuff like fabrics and machines etc. I find it difficult to be surrounded by so much stuff, but I need it to be able to work and eventually it will be my full time job. I have a room for my sewing but it’s not a room I can hideaway. It’s a weird feeling, wanting to create and sew but also wanting to get rid of everything. I try to organise it neatly but I still can’t shake the feeling of needing empty space/less stuff 😂.

Beautifully shot and well edited as always. I think, if I may suggest, what you would need to think about though is how to make your channel sustainable. How to make subscribers come back every week. I am looking forward to each new episode, but I feel that they are becoming a little repetitive. x

Nicholas, on my journey to minimalism I started with clothes. Instantly started to get attacked by people that say that I always wear the same, that my looks are boring etc. naturally one drives away from that kind of people but sometimes you just can’t. My husband friends or people that I know they are good people but maybe they can’t grasp the concept? How do you deal with that? Thank you.

"Less is Better" Too much clutter from the mind to household items, interior of car is not so much mesmerizing as is stressful, mind boggling, complicating.
