I've actually read the Simonson Thor run as well as the Bendis DD and I would have to say that they're In the top 3 all time as far as their takes on the characters go . As far as having finally acquired some to my collection I would say the MIRACLEMAN omni and the GOTHAM CENTRAL are two that come to mind

Got three of these 5 this year also. Looking forward to DD vol2 ne t year. Sold my 3x Ultimate TPB of Daredevil for this also. Also traded up my 2x ultimate Immortal Iron Fist for this omni also. And picked up Thor, too.

I just bought the Geoff Johns Aquaman omni and the Planet Hulk trade paperback plus the Paul Dini run of Zatanna trade paperback as well

Very cool! I’ve read a good handful of that Aquaman run and have enjoyed what I’ve read! I’ve yet to read Planet Hulk but have heard good things. Zatanna I’ve also not read but in general I do enjoy Dini’s stuff

I have Thor by Simonson in singles. I'm thinking of getting the omnibus since it is so good.

Should be noted the omnibus does have the re-coloring. I love it but as a heads up as it will likely look different than the single issues due to that coloring

Uncanny X-Men by Rick Remender omni is the one I feel most that I am glad i finally collected it in omni form. Back in the day i missed the last re print as didnt know about omnis or this run. Bought the Complete TPBs and finally with another reprint this year, upgrades to the omni. Actually got a copy with a printing error where it duplicated 16 pages of issue 2 missing yhe back half of that issue. The company i bought it from happy replaced it when i found this issue, abiuy 2 months after buying it.
