Iron fist was the second most hyped netflix series for me (daredevil being first) because of potentially being focused on martial arts which i'm a sucker for. But instead we got dumb corporate drama and pretty bad fight scenes. It could've been on the same level as Daredevil in terms of fight scenes but nooooooooo.

They needed to hire fight choreographer Woo-Ping Yuen, THEN Iron Fist would’ve been truly bad-ass and the series in itself would’ve maybe had a pulse for a 3rd season ..

Well the first season was rushed the actor who was playing her didn't have enough time to practice harder on his martial arts skills because his scheduling time for the show was rushed all of this was in the first season but second season was a massive Improvement but I get your point

All I need in life is an origin story movie of iron fist from the MCU, iron fist fist series through Disney + of the many incarnations with a lead up to the modern day iron fist Danny rand. And a then introduction to like Cage with a standalone flick of "heroes for hire". If none of this I really hope they at least give some mention through shan-chi for some future plot Only then can I die happy and fulfilled

2:55 Correction. Daniel Rand is already Iron Fist when he faces THE MANY and THE CHALLENGE OF THE ONE aka Shu Hu. Defeating The Many and Shu Hu gives Iron Fist the choice to chose btn Immortality (staying in K'UN-LUN) or Death (leaving). Check the drawings - Daniel is already Iron Fist when he is fighting The Many and Shu Hu. In fact, Daniel defeats Shu Hu by using his iron fist.

In my opinion Iron Fist should have been a movie or TV show with a Game of Thrones budget. The character's lore honestly makes him more worthy of it than Shang Chi (I feel like the movies will take a lot of inspiration from Iron Fist's comics, kinda like Arrow with Batman ) or even Captain America.

The Netflix show does a disservice to the character. Iron Fist is such a cool character. As someone who is just getting into Iron Fist, what comics do people recommend I read? I have read the whole Immortal Iron Fist and am currently reading the current Iron Fist run (just finished the Seven Masters storyline) and have read a bit of the latest Power Man and Iron Fist run

I think Netflix can't handle live-action magic/fantasy IPs. The second season of Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Defenders get criticized for not being as good as the more grounded parts of the Netflix and Marvel superhero shows.
