To answer the title's question: It's possible because GP is a broken stat. Some things raise GP too much (like zetas) , while other things don't raise GP nearly enough (GLs, G12 and 13, relic levels, 6 dot mods, omicrons, etc). The top end rosters should be closer to 20-25 mil GP at this point, not 13 mil.

And it's because GP is broken that it is not a good way of doing matchmaking, which is why they moved away from it. So, either they need to fix GP, or they need to use other metrics for matchmaking if they are going to move away from the stupid system they have now.

I do think mods are under valued or not being properly calculated into the power rating. Sometimes I will switch to a mod which is undeniably better for that character and it results into a power score reduction on that character even though it makes them better. My question WTF? So I fix my squads mods and I lose power rating? It really doesn't make sense. Bottom line is you can't relay on power rating to win, you have to build your teams right and if you over inflate your GP your not going to do well an any PVP game modes.

Should someone with 4M+ GP get way better rewards from basically not even playing GAC as someone with less than 2M with 10 relics and better than average at GAC? I think the tops of lower tiers should still give more rewards than the lowest tiers of kyber or whatever they are. Like when you first get into the next kyber/arrodium type tier you would be put first on the tier with the same rewards as the top tier of the lower section. So that way you don't have 6M GP facing less than 2M that have an acct that's barely a year old.

Force players with higher GP and GL counts into higher divisions and reduce the rewards at the bottoms of those divisions to be equal to the division below it.

Nice vid, for me I get a zeta every few weeks. If I plan on zeta(ing) a character I’m not gonna wait months to put multiple zetas on them. The way I see it, if it makes a character any better why would i save it? Even if it’s one ability, the character is better.

My account is the exact opposite of these ultra bloated rosters. I‘m at around 1.9 mil with no unnecessary characters just pound for pound value with cls, Starkiller and completely ready to unlock Profundity which is also the reason why I am at the brink of chromium. I think I‘m going to apply for roster mania because it would be a stark contrast to these absolutely bloated rosters. Edit: I just applied for roster mania would love if you would take a look at it would be my first since I took home the best cls review.

The problem is over inflating your GP without having a good base of teams to handle GA. Take MARTY J for an example, if you boost all your random under developed characters with Zetas your going to push your self into a GA bracket with players who have vastly better teams then you and your gonna lose. Look at the teams your being matched with in Squad Arena if most or all of them are miles above your teams you need to rethink how you are playing this game. Also it's not about the team power rating it's about how the team is built and what team your sending them in against. Also putting Zetas on low gear sub 7 star characters is stupid.
