It all depends on how far away your hands are from the rest of your body, gets harder when they're under your shoulders for example compared to in front of your head. I think its cause the range of motion is increased as its brought closer

Hey, first I want to say that I’m seeing some real results from your videos and appreciate that your putting this content out there. I have a few questions though. Are you doing all of these daily? If not which ones do you combine for maximum results? Because I’ll be honest, the results I’ve seen are unreal just from doing some of them a few times per week. Are you using these methods in conjunction with weight training?

Hey man I enjoy your videos a lot and all but i just wanted to leave a quick comment because i can really relate to those legs. First of all, i did watch your other video where you explain why your "calves" are so small. In this aspect it's not only your calves that are small but just your legs in general. The way I can relate to you and therefore advice you some things is that back in february i went to the gym for the first time in my life. I was 59 kg and by june i got to 66kg (just like you, by eating tons of calories and not so many vegetables haha). In this period i worked extremely hard my upper body and only trained legs once a week!! (and exceptionally twice a week when i felt pumped). Guess what, people actually told me how my legs looked bigger and had a better shape. In addition, my first good squat set was with around 20kg. By june i was squatting 100kg for 6 reps as my personal record. I was also super motivated for every leg workout because believe or not, i enjoyed squatting as well as deadlifting a lot. Meaning that every leg day i tried to surpass my last weeks weight, which in fact was absolutely possible because day by day my legs got stronger and used to adding weight every training. I'm sorry but there is no excuse as "i train calves 5 times a week", just forget about that. The way to go is get your mind set for a full potential leg day, get in that gym and destroy your legs by squatting, doing single leg bulgarian squats, leg pressing, leg ext/curls AND AFTER you can do your calves as much as you want. Please Austin believe in this one. As much as you and i love calisthenics, we cant hang around with those chicken legs and for this exact reason after the summer break i completely quit the gym, started calisthenics only and i am currently still hitting the gym for those legs and rest is full body workout. I encourage you to try hitting those legs at least twice a week for around 3-4 months and then leaving a response here to let me know how it went! I am extremely sure your legs will grow no matter what. Good luck man.
@Shannxy8 жыл бұрын
Alfonso Lopez Totally agree on all points. I also love calisthenics but go to the gym once a week for a full leg day, because calisthenics is not sufficient for muscle growth in the legs. You need to be in a rep range 8-12 for muscle growth and add weights progressively. Once you can pistol squat over 10 reps there are no more exercises hard enough to stay in the 8-12 rep range. That's why I go to the gym for legs. I read a pistol squat is about ad hard as squatting your own weigth, and even beginners at the gym don't need that much time before they can do it. The upper part of the body is much easier, because there are so many harder exercises. Handstand pushups are like a military press with your own weigth + more balance, and that would take beginners at the gym way more time to do than the Squat

Alright gonna do this hope it goes well I’ll edit in 5 minuets 😆 Edit 1: this gon take longer than 5 minuets I’m struggling on tricep extensions lmao they’re so hard dude Edit 2: just finished I couldn’t do the tricep extensions I could only go halfway, this tired out my elbows in the beginning so I had to pause the vid to do diamond pushups Everything else was easier especially the dips which is my fav I might have to do that either weighted or just more reps Damn my elbows are weak I can’t wait to do this again tomorrow to help build up my triceps
