When yg entertainment was still struggling they used to have a broken garage building as their headquarters so seven , gummy, 2ne1 , bigbang all experience something supernatural and it was understand able because the building was old enough to have something like these, when they moved to their new building they thought everything will become ok . But it didn't winner ikon blackpink members as trainee years experience many unexpected events which later was confirmed that whatever that thing was it never leave yg behind it follow them from their old to new building and established his home in basement practice room since it was 5 level underground . Majority of incidence used to happened in that particular area basement level 5

Here are my thoughts. The mystery is what controls the fan base and so they use mystery to reveal contract terminations. It's not a coincidence. Look at SHINee's Jonghyun. They had started to alienate him from the group as early as 2013. He even complained once that the manager planned schedules that excluded him. By Dec 2017, Jonghyun hadn't renewed his contract with SM while the other 4 already had. Jonghyun was a very independent and I feel like SM saw that as a threat. His Blue Night contract was linked to SM and they said he had to go. Sadly he also had to meet his contractual obligations despite knowing he might not get renewed. So, idols deemed problematic are pushed out but in a "Mysyerious" way. Same script with Sulli.

I don’t mean this in a rude way, but if X1 had to disband then why didn’t IZ*ONE? They were both formed from unfair votes yet only X1 got the consequences. It should’ve been more fair for everyone involved, especially since it ruined the reputation for some of the idols. Seungwoo, Wooseok, Yohan, Hyeongjun, Seungyeon, and Minhee were all from different groups and had a promising fresh start with X1. Seungwoo, the leader, was also the leader for Victon which he left for X1, before he found out the votes were rigged. That can f up his reputation as a leader in general for both groups.

Basically all the points stated by previous comments caused it. After the scandal got massive attention people started to hate both groups. But since X1 was new and IZ*ONE was already active - IZ*ONE had a huge fanbase to support them and therefore the agencies were sure that IZ*ONE could still do very well. However they were not so sure about X1 and also didn't want their trainees to get more controversial by continuing in a group that is labeled as rigged. That is why the agencies decided to disband X1 which was easier to do bcs they didnt sign the artist contract yet. They could disband IZ*ONE too if all the agencies agreed on it bcs just like in every contract it is possible to terminate it if all sides involved agree. It's nothing about morals that everyone should disband it is about the practical economic outlook for the agencies. IZ*ONE are huge money makers as they basically even outsold Twice in 2020 (With more comebacks than Twice had obviously but statistically I think they did or at least were on par..) If we count japanese album they released they were basically even on par with Blackpink. (Again... BP managed to make those sales with 1 album while IZ*ONE with 4 - which is obvious bcs both groups build their success on different approach and both agencies used different economical plan) The point is - IZ*ONE was well established group and it was not beneficial for the agencies to disband them. They still lost 3 months since they were on hiatus during the investigation and let me tell you - even the girls didn't know what will happen. Eunbi (IZ*ONE'S leader) cried when they came back to music shows and they managed to win. She had a literal break down. I am only mentioning it to explain that they definitely were not without consequences. They were heavily affected by it. All of the girls were.
