Obviously the mixture won't set. Its so runny, it's not about fridge settings You must put it back on stove top on medium heat until the mixture thickens or comes away from the sides. Then refrigerate or shape etc

Hi, if you want to use a cutter to make the designs do you leave the burfee mixture in the pot to cool down before rolling out? And for about how long do you allow it to cool before it reaches the dough texture so you can work with it?

Hi. Transfer the mixture into a bowl and allow it to cool down in the fridge. Mine took an hour in there to firm up....

Hi there. If it didn't set in the fridge then add the mixture into a pot and mix continuously on med/low till it firms up. Next time reduce the cream by half a cup 😉

Hi 👋 Try rubbing a little oil or butter onto the cutter beforehand or roll it out and place it into the fridge for about 10 mins then use your cutter 😉

Hi. Yes you can. All refrigerator settings are different... Double the time in the fridge if it didn't set in the first hour.

Best to store in an airtight container in the fridge(it also tastes best when cold). Depending on the weather, it may not last too long at room temp because of the cream in it.

Hi 👋 Add the slivered almonds to a ziploc bag or any small packet. Add in a few drops of food colouring(gel works best but liquid is fine too). Shake the bag around and massage the almonds 😉 Turn them out onto a paper towel and let it dry for a few hours.

Hi 👋 Where I live, i always need 2 but I've had many viewers in Durban and CapeTown say they only needed 1 and a half. My suggestion is too heat 2 cups and remove half. Continue with the recipe and use the other half as needed 😉

Baking is a science and many things can affect the end result, namely altitude. If it was too wet, reduce the cream by half a cup next time 🥰

Because everyone's fridge settings aren't the same, its best to keep it in the fridge until it sets... It will set, might just need 2 hours instead of 1.

Hi 👋 Don't put it in the freezer. When you remove it, the moisture will make it worse. If you're able too, add more milk powder 🙏
