I assume you have a lot of suggestions / ideas you're juggling for future content but I've been looking for a good demo HM guide for Ulduar and there aren't very many, if any, on all the fights. I know the fights can get very situational too so it could be a great way to get channel exposure. Our guild has had 2 demo mains come n go, now it's my turn to pick up that slack as I was affliction before and I've been struggling. Your videos help a ton but there is still a lot to learn. Thanks for the content man, its seriously great stuff. That parse/logs video for casters on vezax was super helpful

On the opener, with no rocket boots you have one more spare global to run from precast range to melee. I use this on another life tap to increase the chance of snapping 4pc spirit.

That is a good tip. I try to conserve rocket boots for emergency movement and that extra spirit can make a fat pact!

Thx for your vids, my twink wl now has 4.3gs after 3 ids and your vids helped a lot to perform quiet well. How do you keep your pet always alive? especially as an affli. My main is a priest, and of a healers perspectiv it looks like most people dont realy care about their pets

Fel Synergy talent helps a lot in pet survivability, otherwise you need to recognize/learn danger for pets (ex: fire during mimiron) and micro your pet out if you see it derping around. Healers should care at least about your felguard cause 300 sp to their healing is a significant bump, maybe that would convince them to turn on pet frames.

what do you do if your dots on the main target expire, while you are fishing on the adds for decimation proccs. Do you renew them and after that using decimation proc? or is it better to use decimation first, before renewing immo and corruption on main target?

Usually people want 1 Demo always, if there is a second lock in your run definitely Affli will be ran. I think a lot of RLs and 10m Ulduar groups will force their Affli to swap.

For multi dotting as demo I hear other locks say you should at max have only 2 corruptions up. Is that true?

I usually rip 2-3 depending how comfortable I am with threat. Take a trash pack of 4-5 I would probably do 2 corruptions then seed, but if the tank hasnt gathered everything yet I might do a third.

Okay, been playing Demonology now since the release of WOTLK classic. Could you answer the best you could, why is it that spellstone is better? I've been using spellstone till about 4 weeks ago and got beaten by other demo's till one guy said I should use Firestone. I'm topping more dps charts since then. I've seen literally every good demo using Firestone. There is tons of hit gear in Ulduar and I've been balancing that gear with haste. Heck, I even dropped the 4 set bonus to put more raw haste gear overall. Sitting around 403 haste and Firestone just feels better imo. One disadvantage that Molten Core procs less often. But SB and SF crits like crazy.

its just 240ish haste vs 196ish crit I would take the 240ish haste all day per stat weights. The crit might be nicer for your demo pact uptime, but I went through some of the top demos and the top 3 are all using spellstone still on a bunch of fights. If the crit is something that makes you do more damage in your eyes I say rock it.

Hey, I am a support warlock for my guild that I love, but I have a personal problem. One of the afflict locks is super good, and I can't beat him in the meters, im always 6-7th on the charts and he's number 1. Personally I would like to beat him, but my Gleader doesnt believe in DP and funneling gear towards it. And even if I did get more gear I would only help that Afflict lock even more. I know my role and how selfish I am but i still want to be regarded as helping my raid and not be another mediocre dps.

That is very understandable, we all want to beat those pesky afflictions that think they're better than demos. If you explain that every 10 spellpower upgrade you get 10 + 1 (per sp user) and they dont believe in that then they don't deserve how hard you're working to maintain your buff. You can try to look out for some more situations to cheese molten core and decimation to try to get up there as well.

Good guide for beginner demos. You however mention flame caps, but dont say when to use it, ie (1 min left of the fight)

He does say to use them during execute or at the start if it's a short fight.

If the fight is 1 minute pop it at the start for Immolation Aura, if the fight is over 1 minute pop it for execute range (35%). If you need your healthstone don't use it at all.

Grobbulus - I snipe rank 1 shadowbolts on the adds, I don't bother with corruptioning them since its a short fight and sometimes you don't get the full duration. Faerlina - the followers will always silent you. If you can coordinate your Aura Masteries from the paladins you can run in, meta, and seed to your hearts content
