Yes mam this is the good posture. Before few years we were using this posture for indian toilets. Hence our ancestors don't have constipation problem.

I was never able to do this when I was a child and I’m 40 above now and even now I am not able to ground my heels. If I sit with my heels grounded, my knees go apart not in alignment with my shoulders.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and spondilitis. I dint knw i should be doing it. I was trying since a week. Initially i couldn't sit for 30sec even now i take a little support and do otherwise i cant rest my feet flat. Should i continue doing it or i should stop it please suggest. TIA

Mam a doubt: Well said mam this is the truth no yoga teachers do this first I have very severe pain in my right side just from the rib to hip can't do any thing even healthify me could do nothing bcz of this pain I think I found a solution.
