I’m not getting sore after my workouts and I was wondering if this means I’m doing something wrong because I feel fatigued for about an hour and then after that it’s like I didn’t do much. They are killer workouts when I do them but idk if soreness means better results.
@AnabolicAliens6 жыл бұрын
As you become more advanced, you generally experience less delayed onset muscle soreness actually. Extreme soreness is very common for beginners because it's the first time their bodies are reacting to exercise response. When you become more advanced, getting sore afterward more becomes a thing when you try new training methods, add more weight, add more volume, or just change things up. As long as you're pushing your workouts, your workout is challenging, you're progressing and seeing results, don't worry!

I'm 6ft 8 ,with this height build something extremely hard, never been fat nor skinny, 220lb approx. Working out every day different muscle groups for 1 year starting from calves ending with neck and cardio at the end of training. I mean, I burn muscles, literally training hard. Yes I do have lines more visible now but nothing near to call myself bodybuilder or owner of fitness physique. Yes I do eat eggs,beef,tuna fruits for more vitamins and whey shakes. Been watching your videos for whole year and following your instructions but seems like everyday starting over my workout from 0. Maybe my genes messed up? Altho my testosterone level is more than good. Should I start ''juicing up'' (using steroids) ? Because ran out of ideas and tactics to gain more muscle mass.End of road for me just to keep doing it, get bit bigger after training when all muscles are warmed up, and next day - everything gone - starting over.
@AnabolicAliens6 жыл бұрын
Hey Lev, no I do not recommend to go on steroids. With that height, you NEED to be taking in a LOT more calories than the average person. I would highly recommend you even get in a caloric surplus because 220 lbs isn't a lot of weight for your height. I'm 5'9 so you got almost a foot on me and only way 30 more lbs! It seems to me like calorically your gains are being hindered. Also training frequency is essential and it also sounds like your weekly volume needs to be increased. Don't get demotivated, there is always a way. Try to eat in a caloric surplus, hit every muscle group at least twice a week, multiple sets/exercises for each muscle, and don't repeat a muscle group for at least 24 hours to allow recovery. If you need help with any of this, I do 1on1 training on my website where I build custom workout/meal plans and I'm very confident I can help you reach your goals! - www.anabolicaliens.com/personal-training/
